  1. light weight
  2. removes extra heat from costly hardware
  3. if damaged its 20 bucks to replace,
  4. cable is long enough to put in most hidden places

cons:

  1. its an extra piece of HardWare that needs to be lugged around if you plan on moving it.

same with the controller. rather than replacing the whole controller just buy a pack of 40 Duracell battery batteries for 10 bucks and your good to go.

so like I notice when I'm about to go to sleep and I'm lying in bed using my phone or when I wake up in the mornings. I can hear something turn on in the Xbox one and then stop a few mins later. This to happen about a couple times an hour. I have my power setting Settings to instant on. Does anyone else notice this? This can possibly be app and game updates but that many every single day?

One other thing I could see happening is if you are playing a game in 720i or 1080i. That and the combination of game mode may cause screen Tearing.

I have the un40D6000 I haven't had any issues like that at all. I have game mode set all the time and it makes my games more responsive not smoother. the quality of the video is reduced slightly in order to process the images at a faster rate. but it should not cause complete destruction of the video.

@mesomorphin: wow you math is way off. 60gb x 35 games =2.1TB. if each games was 60gb, you could only fit 8.3 games. i can even imagin what the next gen consoles will be. it will defiantly be a 3 TB SSD for sure.
