oh so you know the e3 line up? Let the rest of the world in on your secrets. HDon't be fooled. Atleast 10 of those 15 exclusives will be kinect games that no one gives a crap about. I don't think anything can really help Microsoft at this point. The used game fee is a huge thing to people. Some people only buy used games, some only buy like 5 games a year, but a lot of people rent games and it has always been that way since gaming came about. I completely agree that the used gaming market is bad for publishers because that's money they aren't seeing. But punishing the consumer is the wrong thing to do, punish the ones that promote used games (Gamestop).

I am a grown adult and I don't let the opinions of others affect purchases I make. I can spend time doing my own research and make up my own mind. That being said, I have been a XBOX and XBOX 360 owner from day one and will be buying the XBOX One on day one as well. Outside of a miniscule amount of exclusives for the PS3, I have never, ever wanted one. I simply like what the XBOX platform offers and don't mind paying for XBL as I have a a good career and can afford such things! So, to the OP, I will in no way, shape or form be embarrassed buying my XBOX One. I will walk out of the store with CoD Ghosts, Halo 2 Anniversery, Forza 5, Madden 25, NBA Live 14, hopefully a new I.P. or two and go straight home and have a grand old time!!!ShoTTyMcNaDeSlike

by any chance are using an xbox wifi adapter? i dont want to jump to any conclusions, but i was having the same problem but it was also effecting the entire xbox live service. I have an original xbox 360 and i had a wifi adapter. Even though my router was 5 feet ways on the other side of a bedroom wall i had the laggyest connection that would constantly disconnect me. So i swiched back to a eithernet connection and walla i got my secured connection back.
It's an entertainment device.[QUOTE="xhawk27"][QUOTE="sukraj"]

thanks but no thanks i dont want those extra features that i will not use.
Sony is going to have lots of "extra " features too. It's just the way it has been marketed so farI'm not a rocket scientist , so I can't even guess. Maybe Carmack could explain it to me.

no this is rocket science level shit here! we need Morgan Freeman. if he can explain it, then thats another freckle earned!
just kidding. No this cloud stuff if used proporly can really make a difference.
i just want to point out that the PS4 has a camera system (PS eye) starring at you while you play too. It might not be as advanced or robust as the kinect but still a camera is a camera.
I used to love the 360, effortless gaming, pop in a disk and go.
- then online pass
- then ads
- then kinect
I don't pay $50/year to be hassled, harassed and spied on by my own system.
Yes, I get it, there's nobody on the other end of the camera staring at me, but why is there a camera in the first place, I don't want to wave my arms around to game, I don't want the Xbox to say "oh it's you again, nice to see you."
A game console needs to be exactly that.
Not some overdesigned, underpowered piece of crap with 8000 bells and whistles.
This gen I think pretty much all console companies shot themselves in the foot.
1. Ninty with their "tablet controller"
2. Sony with their "ps4 facebook"
3. Xbox with "wave your hand around, ok now move your leg" no stfu, I'm not moving anything, get out of my house

absolutely not. There is all the this un-true negative news flying around but when it comes down to the end of the line, the X1 will sell mad units and quick. Microsoft may have said some cold stuff but that why they are trickling their toes in the water until the right time. They are too big and smart not the fix any problems that come their way. I will also be getting a PS4 down the line but i want a console that has amazing entertainment offerings and amazing games( that was always there).
lol, this post reminded me back when halo 3 was coming out. I never stood in line for a game before but i was like i just want to see what all the fuss was all abooooot. So when i lived in Hamilton > Ontario>Canada i went to a EBgames and the line was f#$%ing massive. i remember it was like 2:30am and when i finally got to the register the guy in front of me was like ( as a joke ) can i get a copy if Viva Pinata? me and 30 people that were able to hear the comment bursted out laughing! That dealyed the line like another 5 mins ! ahhhh good times. i might go to a X1 launch party just because. I now live in Glendale/Burbank California. Anyone know of a good game place where a good launch party would take place ( Empire center?) ?
as shitty as it sounds thats business.
