Like the fact that we're light years away from any stars, hundreds of light years away from any stars with planets, and millions of light years from stars with similar solar systems with us? Even then, when the chance of having an Earth-like planet is a million-to-one, it may still be in its primitive state, and the only life living on it would be bacteria.

The only chance we'll encounter life outside of our solar system is if we find a ship that can go the speed of light for a million years, while still supporting people living on the ship who haven't forgot the objective of the mission, and go to a planet with bacteria on it.

Woodchipper is more instantanous and you have a less chance of failing. Hanging youself could leave you up there for hours [it's happened before] and ODing on pills just burns through your stomach until you die of internal bleeding.

1.) People enjoy violence in video games because it relieves stress, without consequences. And as many people said, humans are violent by nature.

2.) Yes and no. Video games never really influenced my outside life, aside from playing online with friends, when there really is nothing going on. They did help distract my mind during hard times in the past.
