The team owner did. Good athletes cost money. Maybe that wasn't so earlier in sports history, but if a player wants to make 100 million a year, and a team owner wants that player, then their going to have to pay. All paid for by the advertiser, thus the viewer.
Don't come off to obvious, or you'll look like a creeper. Just one day, walk near her, not directly up to her, and say hi, and just start some small talk. Continue this from here, and it should transition smoothly until you know its a good time to ask her out.
Somewhere in the store there should be a sign indicating who the owner is; whether it is some certificate of some kind or some sort of award [doubt it]. Look up the owner in the phone book and talk to him about the issue. The manager might not do anything, but the store owner will.
For now you could possibly find a Nissan 240sx for 3,000... if you're lucky. As a base model, it's not that impressive; but if you invest enough money in it [LSx engine, suspension, brakes, intake/exhaust, etc.] it makes a great track day car.
I have a DBQ, a 10-page paper, and a huge packet where I have to answer questions on the significance of every single little thing in European history for AP Euro. Plus, I got a presentation on ethanol-powered cars for chemistry due. I'm super-pumped.
