If you want to go into business, Chinese. Other wise, learn Latin American Spanish.

Probably Woodrow Wilson. If he didn't exist, Germany would have never been screwed over in WWI, Communism would have never risen, and WWII would have never happened. Plus, no income tax. :) It's all in the book Wilson's War. Pretty interesting book if you ever get the chance.

[QUOTE="Xx_CYC756_xX"]I voted Reagan, but if I picked another, it would be Calvin Coolidge. He did what presidents are supposed to do, keep government small.-Sun_Tzu-
Since when has that been what presidents are supposed to do?

Maybe it's a matter of personal opinion, but it's easy to see that our founding fathers were for small government, as indicated by the restrictions on government in the Constitution.

[QUOTE="Xx_CYC756_xX"]If you don't want to attend the time "wasted", start skipping class, or become more productive in important parts of your "labor" during this time.V2FLUXER
Believe me if I could skip German, and History I would. If I am confident that I want to be a structural engineer, I do see it as time wasted to study subjects that are in no way related to what I aspire to be in life.

About 44% of college students switch their majors from the time they get into college to the time the graduate. Assuming you're still in high school, what makes you so confident you want to be an engineer?

It's a damn shame taxpayers in your area, and your parents, are paying for your education. We should make them pay more for your misery.

[QUOTE="Xx_CYC756_xX"]I say legalize it and tax the hell out of it, then put an age limit of 21 on it. Pot's still easily available to anyone even though it's illegal. Even though I have no respect for users, let them screw up their own lives. DJ_Novakain
I love how you assume anyone who uses a recreational drug has failed at life. I know quite a few people that smoke pot and are doing just fine.

Has using an illegal drug made them a better person? Sure they're doing fine (I know people who do fine on the drug too), but are they doing better than they could?

[QUOTE="howlrunner13"][QUOTE="GabuEx"][QUOTE="howlrunner13"] Actually yes, I am.

Not a big fan of personal responsibility, then, I take it? :P

What? That's just the point. People AREN'T responsible.

How'd prohibition of alcohol go for the United States again?
