So Age of Empires is really that good, hmm... I'll put off getting MK, NSMB, HDR215, SFC until later I think. So it's between FF6A, Lunar Knights, Lost in Blue, Age of Empires & Trace Memory. Please recommend one.joeamis

Well, if you're going to take Hotel Dusk off that list and you're willing to spend 40 bucks, you could get Trace Memory & Age of Empires for that much. I wouldn't pick Trace Memory over Hotel Dusk, though, from what I've heard. Hotel Dusk is amazing but I dunno about Trace Memory. I've heard it's good but pales in comparison.

I think out of the games you said that it's now down to, I'd say Lunar Knights or just Age of Empires and save the rest of your cash. Lunar Knights looks pretty damn good and, from what I hear, it's pretty damn sweet. It got the silver in this month's EGM too. Definitely the next game I'm going to pick up.

Sorry, but I can't vote because I was never interested in trying any of those. I love Final Fantasy III and Mario & Luigi, but none of the titles you listed ever really appealed to me. The only one I would vote on is one of the Pokemon games, but those aren't even out in the states yet. Suffice it to say that I can't vote for a game I haven't even played yet.

Yes... I know It sounds stupid for a 29 year old to be interested in a Pokemon game, even if I'm not a Pokemon freak, but oh well. I thought the GBA games were great RPGs regardless of the fact that it's Pokemon.

Well, during the weekdays I work from 5am-5pm and by the time I get home, my daughter is already home from school so I have to help my wife make dinner and then help my daughter with her homework, get her to shower and then put her to bed so I can't really play until around 9:30 or 10. By that time I'm usually really tired so I only get about 2 hours in a night before bed.

On the weekends I get to play a whole lot more, though, because I don't have to worry about work or any of that other stuff, so I'm guessing around 4 hours or so (maybe more) on Saturdays and Sundays.

My guess is that it's still the same game it was 16 years ago, just with updated graphics. The story doesn't really have any depth to it and the gameplay is total old-school, but the old-school goodness is exactly what I love about it and why it's still my number one favorite DS game to date. It totally takes me back to when I was like 10 and the original Final Fantasy first came out.

7.9 isn't really THAT bad, but I guess I can understand why they would rate it at 7.9 even if I don't exactly agree. I guess it's mostly just a matter of taste though. *Shrugs*

Yeah... You definitely have to play the first one first. Plus, it will be easier to find the second one later on when you you finish the first.

I think the game I hated the most was Warioware. I couldn't stand that damn "game".

There are a few games that look worse than Warioware, but I've never actually played them.

I think it's fairly safe to say that the Game Boy is pretty much dead for the most part, and that the DS is the new Game Boy. I really just don't see why Nintendo would go back to the old formula when the DS is such a success. I'm guessing there will probably never be another Game Boy. Of course, I could definitely be wrong.

[QUOTE="DSfanatic5"]

Well, my parents are very strict and religious, so up until now I was playing Spongebob on my Leapster Learning System.  After proving to them I could mesmerize my monthly Bible studies, they granted me forgiveness in the form of a "Phatty DS."  I would've preferred a light, but I'm thankful for what I've been blessed with.

Unfortunatley, the only game I am allowed to play is Over the Hedge.  My parents approved the movie after harsh scrutinization and cross-examination.  I like the colorful graphics, much better than Madagascar for my Leapster.

Please please tell me you are joking or just lying about this, cause if not it's just disturbing. If you were pulling every one's leg I could see, but if not your parents are pretty messed up. Dude you parents are way way way to up-tight for their own good and yours.

I have a feeling that if they were being serious and their parents were actually so uptight that they had to make sure Over the Hedge was a suitable movie for them to watch,  they probably wouldn't be able to use the internet. lol.
