@gurglingwonder1 THANK YOU!

Jesus christ, so many people are still complaining about something they all asked for, and knew From didn't know how to do in the first place.

If you install DSFix, and the mouse fix, this port is basically what you wanted all along. If there's a solution out there, why don't you just do it and stop complaining?!?

FFS...

@Coco_pierrot I disliked VIII, but I admit it's only personal gripes I have. The game's mechanics were very ambitious, but confusing and overcomplicated to some. I value it to an extent, even though the story is bad...

I found Vanille to be very annoying at times, and since she's an integral part in the story she should be more likeable and relatable. Hope was annoying at first, but he develops as a character and eventually turns into a relatable character with a strong personality.

I'm legitimely excited for this, looks like a "reboot" of sorts if that makes any sense xD

I don't care what the haters say, XIII was a good game. Nothing great or amazing, but a legitimely good and enjoyable experiece with a nice story and strong cast (Vanille is the exception). People complain about the story (apparently XIII's story is s***, but X's story is A-Ok...right xD), people complain about the auto-battle making it a mash-X battle system (this is factually wrong, since you're constantly forced to rethink your strategies and paradigms to overcome your obstacles. And the more you learn and dominate the system, the sooner you realize manually inputting your commands is better and more efficient. The auto-battle is a mechanic that was supposed to save the trouble of manual input of commands, and there's nothing wrong with that and if you think there is then don't use it. People always find a way to complain about this...) and finally people complain about it not being nearly as good as the classics (you may be right here, agree with you all the way except for X IMO, but that still doesn't make this game bad. In it's own right, it's still a good game).

The game has flaws, like the exceedingly linear exploration and character progression and lack of sidequests/optional stuff to do other than cie'th missions (marks of this game). But I think people are still making this game worse than it actually is, and the cie'th missions are alot of fun still...

I'm excited for this. If it ends but better than XIII (which I honestly think it will), i'll be a happy camper :D

@moviequest14: '' The floating islands also include an entire 'game show' island and another island with a sword game on it.Just to point that out... Yeah I know, I was talking about the small ones. It would get a 9.5 from me if they added more exploration in the sky...

On contrary to what IGN and it's community is trying to pass out, Skyward Sword is NOT the best Zelda game ever made...it is one of the best, but not the one on top. Tom McShea's review was his honest opinion about the game. True, he had alot of factual errors there (like the bow using infrared, the controls being broken 20% of the time, etc.) but I have to agree with him in two aspects: - Padding: The swimming and stealh sections are just boring IMO. The game also consisted of revisiting the same areas several times... - Exploration: The sky exploration is not as vast as it looks. There's floating islands with just one treasure chest and that's it...alot of potential exploration wasted. But even so, it's still an amazing game that stands out as one of the best the series ever had. I honestly don't understand the reason for the outrage Tom McShea's review caused: we loved it, we know it's amazing, and that's all that matters! It's just a review, who gives a f***? Great Zelda article, Gamespot. Looking forward for other games here :)
