@wretch1d: Dead Rising 1 saw a pseudo-remake in Chop til you Drop on Wii. Dead Rising 2 was also on PC and PS3 as was Off the Record. The only straight up exclusives were the original version of the first and the Case West sorta-demo-sorta-prologue.

@kentray1985: I'm pretty sure people who dislike exclusivity contracts are unhappy about ALL of them, don't assume other people's intentions, it just makes you look like a dick.

In a post-press conference interview, director Raphael Colantonio revealed more details about Prey. He said that it is not a sequel or a remake; instead, it's "a reimagining of the IP."

So, it's a remake. Got it.

@rosinmonkekyx17: I hate to say it, but I gotta: u mad?

You're moving the goal post and changing the argument, this has nothing to do with FPS games, it was about the existing PS+ games being poor choices to benefit a large portion of the PS+ membership, I think I proved quite succinctly that it doesn't. I shouldn't have run with the change of subject earlier.

You're also putting a lot of thoughts in my head. Yes, I think Gone Home is trash, I have no problem with NBA2k16, it's clearly a high quality title but the audience is dramatically limited, it just LOOKS like a good choice because it's a big name, but in reality, as I outlined, most people who had any interest in the game have already or currently own it.

Additionally, I'm not personally a sports game fan, so why should I be grateful for things I don't like?

What's wrong with having opinions on a service? If you don't like what the service does you should say so, and when you like what the service does you should also say so. How is it supposed to improve otherwise?

@rosinmonkekyx17: The amusing thing there is that the PS Store score was something like 4.8 a few days ago. It's 4.0 now. I expect that to continue to fall rapidly. Previously only the pretentious snobs who are into games in a film-school-hipster way were willing to pay money for Gone Home and rate it.

You also forgot to mention user scores, no one cares what the critics think, they're a bunch of hacks anyway.

Metacritic PC edition: 5.4/10

Metacritic Console Edition PS4: 3.9/10

Metacritic Console Edition Xbox One: 3.8/10

Hell, over on GameFAQs the user rating is sitting at 2.7/5 on PS4.

The vast majority of gamers simply aren't interested in it, and that's the point I was making in the first place. Gone Home is indie trash no one who plays games for gameplay cares about, and the sports fans interested in NBA2k16 already own it or used to own it.

Just because a bunch of black plastic rimmed glasses wearing hipster faux-hawks at SoCal based games sites like it doesn't mean literally ANYONE else likes it.
