The Wii is not made for everyone. If you're looking for more mature games and you bought the Wii expecting there to be more M games than games actually designed for young children, then it's your own fault. Nintendo has a certain market that they're targetting and obviously it's working very well for them and will continue to do well. They're not trying to tailor to M rated games considering that the market area that they're trying to mainly target are younger crowd and older crowd. It's obvious the market that Microsoft and Sony are trying to target and they're doing well with people in those areas and not as well in Nintendo's market.

Why brag about something that's $250? I have all 3 consoles and love each and every one of them. PS3 for my Bluray movies, Xbox 360 for its exclusives, and Wii for the fun games to play with friends. Bragging doesn't solve anything and help anyone but one own's self esteem. It's a little sad that people have to brag to others to make themselves feel better at the expense of the other person's happiness.

It depends on the crowd. I know that wouldn't work around here I live (IU Bloomington) because the Starbucks are for the students and faculty. It would be very disrespectful to have something like that in the store and I know the store would not allow it in the first place because of the clientele. Just have to make sure that your Starbucks would be ok with it and the people around you guys would allow it. Why in the world would you want to play the PS3 at a Starbucks anyways? Want to show off or something? I don't see the purpose.

Feeling proud for owning a PS3? That's cheap stuff... I'd much rather feel proud for owning a sports car or house, graduating from the Kelley School of Business, or getting on the dean's list every semester. That's stuff to be proud of. I'm thankful for owning a PS3 and for my parents for their financial support. BTW, I own all 3 systems... Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3. PS3 = Blu-ray when I'm at home, 360 = shelf, Wii = for friends and family. Sony laptop = Blu-ray for traveling to other people's homes. A PS3 is just any other machine that's actually pretty cheap when comparing it to other electronics that are generally viewed as "inferior".

Am I going to be flamed? I dunno... we'll see.

Education > Video Games

WTF is up with the parents? If he had Asian parents, they would've already beat his ass into studying... and take away GH no matter how much he begged.

I buy used games. I haven't had any issues with the ones I've bought and so far I've saved $175 as compared to buying new versions of the games. That's about 3 new games right there! :)

I would say for the Blu-ray... if you're into really crisp HD movies.

At this time, I would have to say No (if the game is run at highest capacity). Crysis would be able to run on the PS3 of course, but it would most likely be in a lower quality due to some limitations (like graphics.... everyone knows that PS3's graphics are nothing to what a PC is easily capable of doing).

Patience, they well come. The American market is more geared towards FPS than RPGs. Japan is a different story.

I'd have to say that the PS3's "thing" is definitely the Blu-ray. I bought the PS3 primarily for the Blu-ray since all of the movies will eventually have a Blu-ray option available and Blu-ray looks just so much better than regular DVD. Might as well get a system that has some good games and is cheap for a Blu-ray system.
