We desperately need a moderator to deal with that guy and close this thread down. Why don't you go to a politics forum or something? I'm sure everyone would love to hear what you have to say there. *sighs*

Why are you asking other people to decide for you if you should buy a PS3 or not? It's your money... do your research of what it has to offer you and come up with your own decision. Your brain will thank you.

For me, I think it's too early to really be 100% sure of anything coming out in December. Release dates can always be changed in an instant to provide more time to polish things up and make sure that everything will turn out as expected. Release dates for games change way too often for me to be really trustworthy of them anymore. Maybe wait in a couple of months like in October and see what the release date is then. If it's still Dec 15, then I would believe it to be solid for the most part.

360 I believe will only be slightly if at all really, inferior in graphical quality as compared to the PS3 version. The 360 will just have multiple discs basically. Nothing really dramatic.

^ topic title. I've also already played Marvel: Ultimate Alliance so that's off the list. So many PS3 games are just for 1P but I would really like to find a good one that will suit my younger brother and I. If there isn't any for the PS3, then I'll just have to see if there are any we haven't played yet for the 360 or Wii. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Now I wonder how many of those will actually turn out to be good. I wouldn't want a lot of crappy exclusives. I know MS is also having a lot of exclusives so eh, doesn't matter. Just have all 3 systems and no need to have to compare anymore. :) I'm happy that I'm getting all "exclusives" for all 3 systems.

I'll have to say MGS4, it's the first game with cut scenes the same as real time game play.

That you've experienced? I've played several games that have cut scenes the same as real time game play. One very easy example is Assassin's Creed. During the cut scenes you can even move around and change your view.

But back to OP... I'd have to say from what I've played... The Elder Scrolls Oblivion hands down for a realistic game and Ratchet & Clank for a cartoonish game. Excellent games to see how great the graphics capabilities are of the PS3. Who knows? I'm very much looking forward to the release of FF13 and seeing the White Engine in motion on my TV.

Hey. I'd say wait for the Sony press conference and see what they have planned. I personally would just save up the money because why use up $100s for something that you're TRYING to find a reason to buy? Just wait and see what's going to happen with the consoles. If you are at all interested in Blu-ray, then get a PS3 because Blu-ray movies will basically be standard (it is becoming now). I purchased a PS3 primarily for the Blu-ray and... for Final Fantasy XIII, but that's alright that the game is on Xbox360 too... it doesn't bother me. I don't quite understand why people are getting so pissed about it going to Xbox360 also... it's like saying they don't want a group of unknown people to play it.

But also... your interest in Ratchet & Clank? I personally really enjoy the game. I have finished the game and am still finding myself wanting to play it (now in Challenge mode). All of the gadgets are fun to use and the game itself is light-hearted and very well done.

Hope you make the right decision for yourself!

Live and learn. Move on and try to just patch things up with your parents. What else can you do now besides making things worse? Worst thing that you could do to yourself now is just be angry at your parents and at yourself (if you are). Cheer up and look on the bright side...

... don't know what it is but I'm sure you can find something.

As of right now, you probably will get more money from selling it on Ebay with your PSP if it's in great condition.
