Keep in mind that the white PSP actually looks like cheap plastic and the Darth Vader pic on the back will be there... forever... while the silver PSP does look like it may be made of a higher quality material (like aluminum or something like that). Use the extra memory card for a movie and some music or something, that's what I've done with mine.
If it means anything.... the Gamestop guys near my house all agreed with the Daxter bundle. If you don't mind the Darth Vader pic on the back and like white better, then maybe the Star Wars bundle is for you. I'm personally not a big fan of anything silver in general but the PSP silver color is actually quite appealing and makes it look really pricey. :P
I highly recommend Eternal Sonata. It's visually clean and beautiful and the music is spectacular. It's Chopin! The cut scenes are nice to watch and the battle system is quite nice too.
I recommend getting Marvel Ultimate Alliance. The game is pretty fun and it's even more enjoyable with friends! Having 4 friends playing all on one screen can get hectic and funny. I never laughed so much playing one game with friends for the Xbox 360 than I did with this one.
I'm quite positive that Nintendo will not be announcing a new handheld so soon because the DS Lite and games are doing so well. They'll wait until the sales get to where the PSP sales are currently, and then announce it. :)
I honestly think that SSB on DS would look terrible. Now if it was for the PSP, then I would feel pretty confident that the PSP could handle what SSB would offer. DS just doesn't have the capabilities to me, considering that SSB is such a fast-paced game where a lot of things are happening at once. I also wouldn't like to play SSB without a joystick (Mariokart got by).
I have an Onyx Nintendo DS (which is much harder to find around my area than white). I think it looks "sexy" with it's shiny casing. It looks really classy to me. It does attract fingerprints though and you don't have to get any scratches if you take care of it well. I got the nice free yoshi case and screen cloth cleaner that came with the DS from Circuit City. The cloth cleaner is really handy in cleaning the whole DS instead of using a t-shirt or tissue which can cause scratches because of the looser threads.
To me, the white Nintendo DS is more "fun and pimp" (oh geez I can't believe I used that word) and the black Nintendo DS is more "rich and sophisticated".
