If all other games work fine then I guess it is a problem with your Bioshock disc or the Game Data (NOT Saved Data).

[QUOTE="masterds64"]May I ask...what is the default drive's speed exactly? People told me the 7200 was the way to go...

It's 5400 - apparently 7200 can overheat and there is little difference on PS3, so I stuck with 5400 on my second upgrade.

Not that is matters but the old "fat" PS3s came with a Seagate HDD, and the Slims came with a Toshiba HDD - I bought the same brand just to be safe. If Sony deemed them good, then that's good enough for me. I've upgraded once from 60gb to 200gb, the recently up to 500gb! :) I also bought an enclosure so I can use my old HDD as an External drive! Another bit of info....I used to think the PS3 automatically formatted a HD everytime you put it in, but if it's already formatted to that individual PS3, you should be fine just to remove it and plug it in again - although I have not tested this!

*Touches wood* My replacement has lasted 3 years and still going, although I think the Wi-Fi Board is destroyed, as I have to use Ethernet....otherwise my internet speed jumps up and down between 0.4Mb to 5.8Mb, when usually it's a steady 7.2Mb!!

[QUOTE="Weenski"]^Quote: 'God I am sick of these threads always comparing the COD games to the BF games.' but if that's the case, fair enough. It does seem to have become 'cool' to hate COD. Personally I just didn't really like MW2. Doesn't mean I hate it. Clearly COD games are hugely popular for a reason. :) What's the SP like on the Battlefield games? I'm more of a SP gamer. Thanks.

I didn't play it to be honest - I mainly buy for the multiplayer and didn't like BF2 MP demo all that much. You can pick it up cheap or maybe you should rent it - I would also try the latest Medal of Honour game as I think EA may have used that game to trial a few things ready for BF3 - although that's just my opinion, they may be completely different, and I'm pretty sure MoH doesn't have destructable environments. I suspect both BF3 and MW3 campaign modes will be good! :)

Thanks.....although I didn't actually give you all the facts! I actually think it's a Wi-Fi Board problem since I have no issues with my internet speed when connected via Ethernet. I think the problem first occured when playing Uncharted 2 online and the internet speed fluctuating (using Wi-Fi) caused the same problem as you, when trying to connect to the Naught Dog servers. When I use Ethernet I can play and connect just fine. Thanks for taking the time to respond though!

God I am sick of these threads always comparing the COD games to the BF games. They're very different and both are fun to play. Sick of hearing all the hate at COD too.If you don't like it (or BF) don't play it. I enjoy playing both and will probably get both but I can't say for sure, because I don't know if they're any good.

I wish some people would just play the one they enjoy and let others enjoy the one they like and stop insulting each other like 10 year olds.

Did I display hate for COD? Did I insult a game? If you have actually read my original post you will learn that I am asking a genuine question as I am not too familiar with FPS. If you don't like the thread don't read it/comment on it. People like you need to grow up. Stop having a problem with someone who posts about video games on a video game forum!

I think the response is more about the silly arguing within the Thread, not aimed at your original post! :)

I know - people say it's kids who play MW yet it seems that the BF followers/players slate MW/CoD and not the other way around - that seems childish to me! I am looking forward to both, since I'm a fan of FPS, however I anticipate that I will enjoy MW3 more. That is not fact, as BF3 might surprise me, but I haven't written it off, I've kept an open mind, and it doesn't not involve me slating it just because I think I will prefer MW3. It seems kids troll these forums.

MW3 will keep me busy for a long time to come. I don't want drastic changes because the formula they have now works.
