open windows media player. go to Tools>options>Library

click on configure sharing button and turn sharing off!

You mean the search for media ones? Yep... they are going to be there no way to get rid of them that I can think of... OH UNLESS go to your PS3 under NETWORK SETTINGS.... Disable the Media funtion at the bottom...

Not sure why you want to get rid of it but try that...

It syas my network is a private network, and when i try to do it, i only get the optio of letting people on this computer listen to my music. How do i make it so PS3 will work too?Haseokicksass

Tools>Options>Library> Monitor Folders> THEN ADD THE ONES YOU WANT TO STREAM...

 In order to access Tools in Windows Media 11 you have to right click anywhere on the player... try to right click the black part next to Play Rewind buttons... 

I can see Windows Media Player and then the video files and their names, but when I try to play one it says "A connection with the media server could not be established. Chech the settings for the media server and network connections." Any ideas?KoolEmpty

In Windows Media Player go to OPTIONS>LIBRARY>CONFIGURE SHARING 

Then click on SETTINGS and Share Media As: YOUR PS3 NAME

Just some dopeness I found on the good ole net... thing costs a freakin' fortune I bet but the DOPENESS was just to cool to keep to myself... =D 

Can someone clear things up for me? Back a little bit... there were rumors that Square Enix was going to make a game for the Xbox 360... a bunch of people thought it would be FF 13... was it this instead?
