I'm looking for a good CPU cooler for this board ASUS 990FX and i dont know any good coolers out there. I have an AMD Phenom II 965 BE, if that'll help.

Also i'm trying to find a good SSD preferably around 256GB.

IMO the 1st one just because of the easy to use bios, and it will make overclocking a little easier i would believe. But me personally i would look for a Motherboard with some true crossfire or SLI, the PCI-E x16,x16. The MSI you chose has x16 x8, I just like investing in an expensive board so i wont have to upgrade for a while. **But i really wouldn't go by my word, i'm just giving my opinion on what i think is good. =)

I was looking at the Cooler Master Silent Pro 850W and i was just wanting to know what do you look for when buying a PSU. Ex.(Rails, Volts, Brand) and give an example of a PSU you would choose depending on the examples i have provided.

Recently my computer has sort of killed itself, not really but power outages have just killed my motherboard and its at the shop right now getting fixed and i was thinking to myself well..... since ill have to replace the motherboard and probaly the powersupply..... why not do a full upgrade. So this is what i have right now.

NZXT case i dont even think they make this case anymore, all i can do is just describe it. Its a small case for a large graphics card, and the airflow kinda crappy.

----so i was thinking about getting the Cooler Master HAF 932 since i have all AMD products running in my case =) as seen in the newegg video if anyone has watched it.

CPU-->AMD Phenom II x4 965 BE

---- Would it be a good idea to upgrade to the six core

RAM--> 4gb im not totally sure what it is because i dont have it next to me and i forgot what was in it... i know im retarded you dont have to say it.

---- would it be a good idea to get 8?? just for future advances?

PSU is somewhere in 700 -750w range. and i was planning on upgrading to a larger graphics card later on.

----What would be a decent Power Supply?

HDD 1tb its a slow drive, so i want to upgrade it maybe to either a fast HDD or even an SSD but for a good price.

Graphics Card is a PowerColor ATI Radeon HD 5870 not looking to upgrade but any suggestions for an even better card would be appreciated.

[QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"][QUOTE="crozon"] Thats more than you would get on a PS3. I played GTAIV on my PS3 and the framerate was pretty bad in places. kevy619
So he should be happy his super expensive PC outperformed the PS3?

I get about the same framerate on my rig. One thing I noticed though, fraps kills the framerate in this game! For some people even having fraps installed hurts the framerate. I sugget just trying it out without recording the fps, if it feels smooth than just play it.

yea when i run fraps and get near water and in dense places it drops down below 20 but when i dont run anything and just the game it doesnt drop below 30fps

I keep getting an error message that says Crysis has stopped working, this is at the very first "Reckoning" cutscene. it will play until the robot thingy getting lifted by the crane starts to move then it will freeze!?!?! Is this an installation error or something else. This is the steam version if that makes a difference. I could record the part at where it freezes also if that makes a difference.

Well when i got my computer which has a phenom II x4 965 and ATI 5870, 4 gb ram i was wanting to play Crysis and at first i was getting about 30-60 fps in the beginning of the game(this is when i had 10.2)but when i downloaded the 10.3 driver and i was at the part where you have to destroy the 3 or 4 AA guns for the jets to fly in i was getting 30 fps Avg. Wouldnt even reach 40 fps, is the problem the driver or is it just the part in the game which i happen to be the laggiest son of gun out there. Also on ArmA 2 i get not even 30 fps it stays in the 20s for some reason.
