The Eye is worth the $40.00 for what you can do with it. The EyeCreate software is the best reason to pick one up at the moment but Sony is working on some cool new stuff for the Eye as well, check it out:

Fifty friends is excessive. Most people can only manage to stay in consistant contact and maintain good e-friendships with about ten to fifteen people.

Sony should have known better than to ask any questions regarding in-game XMB. It's pretty f-ing obvious that PS3 owners want that feature, some even want it more than Home.

That poll should have been asking "What's more important: video messaging, voice messaging, or a Shadow of The Colossus 2 announcement".

I can't get the PS3 to detect the Eye. I've got the Eye plugged into the PS3, the Eye's blue power LED lights up, but the PS3 says "no camera detected" in the Accessory Setup on the XMB, and in EyeCreate.

Has anyone else encountered this problem, or do y'all have any solutions?

Warhawk has superb gameplay but it's servers and ranking system are still majorly borked. They've been broken like this for a couple months now and the future aint lookin' too bright, mostly because the developers have stopped giving regular updates on the official Warhawk forums (basically they ran away from the problem).

I'd love to recommend it to you solely on how awesome the gameplay is but I've got to hold back because the broken server list will frustrate you and the hopelessly-broken ranking will stifle your hopes of in-game conquest.

It's cool that Sony is going to be able to add rumble in the older games but it's still a bit of a butt cramp that Japan will be getting the rumble controller in like 2 months and every place else has to wait like 7. Blatant favoritism blows.
