Sell digitally for 40 dollars on day one then. That price point brings in a larger number of potential buyers, and it also keeps the game from hitting the used market since it is digital. Done deal. You save money on manufacturing and shipping, and you never run out of supply. I know most people don't like that idea, but it has pretty much already taken place in the PC gaming market.
@spindie But, if you were to walk up to an amusement park, pay for a ticket, and then assume all presumable death risks, I guarantee you would be shocked that they also assume that upon your death they would expect to benefit from your burial. And should you chose to be cremated, your remains shall be sole property of the park.
@Gallowhand Obviously I use the internet, but call me a dinosaur, because I have refused to use cell phones. Not that I have anything to hide, but it just creeps me out. Hell, look at the movie "The Goodfellas", sure it's a movie, but dudes used payphones to avert landline taps. Nothing changes.
@Evdne971 Money isn't the issue as far as the end user. It is the person or persons that set up this end user agreement that are to blame. This concept is only, and can only, be derived by those that have lots of money. Greed begets greed. Don't ever forget that.
@MW2ismygame @Judgemynt @Liquid-San @SYTHULIN Faster boot times? Whoopdie fuckin doo. By seconds if you have an SSD? Get the **** out with your Fuckbook touchscreen shit. It is designed around mobile platforms, and therefore sucks for gaming. Real gaming setups are on desktop PCs. Win 8 is garbage for sheep.
@vijinand You also don't care that you pay for internet that is already paid for if you pay for Xbox live. The big deal is, I can play Halo 1 whenever I want. Tell me the same when Halo 5 drops 10 years from now.
@Liquid-San I actually cried at the end of "Empire of the Sun" the first and 2nd time I watched it. It took me YEARS to realize that it was a young Christian Bale playing the displaced British kid.
