@dre256x Piracy exists, let's not kid ourselves. Fact of the matter is, most people that pirate games had no intention of buying the game anyway. Seems like an obvious statement, but it is true beyond the obvious. This has anything and everything to do with the used market and the paying customer suffering for it.
The rumors were a big enough shitstorm, but the truth is actually worse because it is no longer speculation. Just like sarcasm, there is always a hint of truth behind rumor. Just wait until the rest of the rumors come true.
@MarcJL31 Not to mention..."It is the platform, and we are only applying our software to the available medium. It is not our fault."
To which I say, "**** you, it is your fault, because you chose to support the platform and did nothing to provide an alternative, if not promoted the platform from the beginning OR demanded it's setup."
Check in with Mommy and Daddy (Microsoft) if you want to stay out late past your curfew. Otherwise, get to bed and stop trying to be an independent soul. Microsoft now owns your soul.
@MAD_AI Yes, and it practically ruined the game. If you play it now, there are spam bots that enter every minute flooding the screen with ads for websites. The RMAH is no better, it just gives Blizzard a slice of that pie that they didn't get before. Diablo 2 became pay to win (PvP).
That is another aspect that made the game less appealing to me, the skill tree, or lack thereof.
