Wow .. there's tons of awesome suggestions here. So many I took a few down for myself. Anyway, I just wanted to add Xenosaga Ep. 1. The second and the third are okay, but the first is easily the best of the series. Also, Shadow Hearts: Covenant is great. Haven't played any others in the series yet but that one for sure is really good. Also of course FFX. Thats all that needs to be said is just FFX. It's that good. Also if you're planning on getting Persona 3, which you should if you can cause it's simply put, the best RPG of 2007, try to find the FES version. It's got an additional quest on top of the main story. You should be able to get around 100 hours total from it. A lotta game for your buck I'd say.

^^ this is the way to go. My brother just got something similar to this for X-mas. It should have all the ports and everything you need all put together. Just pug in and play.
We had a house party. It wasn't huge just a hand-full of good friends. We all hung out playing Rock Band until like 1:30 AM. No major drinking, No hang over.
Auron was pretty good. Lulu was passable. Wakka was pretty great. Tidus wasn't nearly as whiny as everyone made him out to be, most of the time.
Yuna was terrible, and Rikku - although appropriately peppy - was annoying. Seymour was as bad as Yuna's halting speech, only he didn't falter, he was just way too effeminate. All the supporting cast (especially Brother - dear god, Brother) sucked.

I couldn't agree more. ^^ this is pretty much the exact way I feel about the VA.
Yeah, But you have to remember Valve has been pretty busy with Left 4 Dead, the Black Mesa Project and others. But now that Left 4 Dead is out, hopefully it will free them up to focus more on Half-Life. The Key word there is "hopefully".
