Well i've beeen steaming out the reviews lately, and i realise now looking back on them that i may not have done very well. Some i put a lot of effort into wheras others i've rushed and not played said game for months.

Well no more. :P I'm going to write one every 1-2 days or less. And have played that game for at least a day before writing a review. I enjoyed playign star wars battlefront 2 on my ps2 today and may start or fully write a review for it.

Graphics

Today when browsing through the site saw that Alex Navvaro had a creative badge, i'm sure i can one-up him and get a badge myself, i'm only fourteen so i still have school and obviously don't have a great deal of experience. But in the past i've made some decent peices and if i put my mind to it, i cna pen up a can of whoop-ass on that badge.

(Note: I doubt ill get the badge, i expect they wouldn't notice if i made graphics but still i can make my goal to get the badge or get creative trying.)

So that's two things i aim to do for a few weeks. One, do my best with a few more reviews which should be good and fairer, and two, own Alex Navvaro... i mean be creative. :D

*Alex Navvaro is a gamespot staff member who's level 39 on this site, he goes by the name alexN, i don't knw him or anything but it's a fair challenge.

Shaow of the collosus was suprisingly short really, i think it took me around 6 - 8 hours to complete. The game's excellent but i don't know if i'll bother doing it again, i suppose there are a few unlockables, hard mode and time trials but i don't know if i'd like being timed or challenged. :)

Well i expect ill give hard mode a shot and have a crack at some of the unlockables, it's a shame though that the game's rather short. The story though brief throughout gets exciting near the end so i decied to beat the last ten of the collosus in one sitting, to see how he story unfolds. It's not that i'm dissapointed but still...

Oh well i expect ill play more later, i've got into a book i just got and have thigns to do. I was thinking about what to try and complete next.

I was thinking along the lines of:

Any type of shooter, unfortunately i don't have many to speak of and star wars battlefront 2 is likely my best.

A rpg, i was thiking of going another round with final fantasy x/x-2.

An adventure/ platformer, maybe a mario/ zelda game.

A dynasty warriors game, maybe, it's oh so repetitive now that i've completed all of shu, and i doubt ill have much time to complete more then one character a week.

Right now i think i'm leaning towards final fantasy or Zelda..
Any thoughts.

Like the title? I thought i'd try something diffferent, it's just a merge of the games: Marc Ecko's Getting Up, Shadow of the collosus, warhammer 40k:dawn of war and battle for middle earth 2.

Marc Ecko's and Shadow of the collosus are titles i rented and hope to buy. Both are excellent and i've enjoyed playing both, if anybody's curious as to what they're like, consider reading the reviews i've written of each.

Yesterday i bought the collectors edition of battle for middle earth and it doesn't work, many people seem to ave the same error and it seems un-fixable. I've resigned from trying after about 8 hours of trying, no exaggeration. I'm not to angry though, it's just one of those things i guess no sense getting mad.

Warhammer 40k dawn of war is going to be my main game for now, why waste my newly updated computer :). It's a great real-time strategy and ive written a review for it as well if anyone's interested.

That about sums it up, also i'm going to slow down writing reviews and correct the countless spelling mistakes i made. Ill be renting Black tomorrow on the ps2, you can expect a review for it :).

New: Just bought shadow of the collosus it was a hard choice and i randomly chose but eventually i hope to have marc ecko's getting up as well.

I upgraded my comp with this game as the reason and bought the collectors edition and the book. It just won't work, i've tried everything there is i just don't know why it won't work.

It says; Direct x errror, make sure you video card meets the minimum requirement (It does) make sure you do not have hardware acceleration disabled (I've tried all the setting for it none work) Make sure the latest direct x is installed(it is and i've tried upgrading it and downloading it again.

I have:

2.8ghz Processor
256mb video card (i spent £130 on this :( )
1 Gig Ram (£30 )

I've bene makign progress however first the game wouldn't start now i can play for about 10-15 minutes before it crashes.

As i said in my last blog i was trying to write lads of reviews and perhaps get a badge and i've accomplished it in 2 days, i wrote twelve reviews and i'm really glad i've got the top 1000 reviewers badge. Well i'm not done, next stop top 500 comunity reviewers.

I'm going to try writing loads of reviews, it's fun to do and quite easy. I've already written 13, 2 of them before school today. I'm going to aim for around 30. I'll see how i do and try to keep doing at least one per day so by april i should have done another 30 reviews, making over 45. I hope i can do it :)

I thought i'd have a go at getting a reviewers badge, i enjoy writing them and some people do read them, it's the best way to express what i think about a game really. I've just this second finished one for warhammer 40k: dawn of war and i can think of loads of reviews i can do.

My curent Review count is eleven and i plan on doing many more. Don't get me wrong i'm not rushing them for the sake of it, just seeing how many i can do all the while having fun.

Any thoughts or recommendations.

My previous "neighborly" just upgraded to "Convivial" :), maybe one day i'll be popular, lol. Well i'm glad i got the new badge, hopefully there'll be many more to come. :D

Over the weekend i was comp-less as my computer had to be fixed, by dad fixes computers as a job so he managed to do it, i lost some data but am far better off then had he not fixed it. Well i've been playing a few computer games (haven't been able to play anything decent for months) and i can't wait for battle for middle earth 2, i was wondering if anyone would like to recommend any computer games that are worth buying, just check out them few reviews i wrote, my few ratings or collection if you want to see what sort of thing i like. All that comes to mind is first person shooters (only ever played one demo, and loved it), and real time strategy games, i'm moderately open-minded and like all sorts of genres so just say if you think a game's worth getting.

And lastly i've got my union up and running, regarding how new it is it's not so bad, still needs to kick off really, but hopefully it'll happen eventually. Finger's crossed :). It's called Dynasty Legends, and is mostly about the dynasty warriors series.

Well my union is up and running but unfortunately i can't contribute for a few days. Maybe for a week or so. I'm leaving the union in the hand of the officers i enlisted. Until i'm back you guys can enlist who you wish send out invitations. You may make topics and such as you wish, good luck :D. Yay have a new badge, neighbourly, shame i lost my ps2 afficando one but it doesn't matter. Anyone nterested in dynasty warriors or other KOEI games, fell free to join my "Dynasty Legends" Union. I've currently got the banner as my profile's banner and the icon as my icon.

I'm going to try to start one, if it doesn't work out in the end, i'll have to scrap it and try again in about a month or so. Hopefully that won't happen though. Ill be using whatever artistry i have at my disposal to make the banner, sigs and tags for the union.

If you're one of the people who received a charter invitation please, accept, you don't have to stay with the union forever, just so i can set it up.
