@xTheTrueSeekerx: You see, there are 2 types of people:
1. The ones that innovates, because they are lazy, like me: Why should I connect additional low hardware box, when I can connect my PC (doesnt matter the size, there are PCs that smaller than consoles), and use all its features after I develop or install small program that lets me control my PC with a gamepad.
2. There are people like you, a sheep kind of people that go after the rest of the herd of sheeps that buys consoles for the "ultimate entertainment".
Well Mr. Sheep, Good luck begging Sony and Microsoft for adding all the features that my PC already has. My PC that is actually a console. A device that every game costs 10-25 $ instead 60-80$ (Bought Arkham Knight PREMIUM for 24$ day before release). And yes, my Arkham Knight worked well without FPS drops on my 4 years old PC with GTX970.
First I got my Xbox360 (phat edition): Works until today, after I modded it and "played" with its Power Supply (to jailbreak it, turned it off and on countless of times until succeeded with modding).
Then I got PS3 Slim edition. From first weeks it froze constantly until it died half year later.
My third console is PS4, which beeps from day one, randomly. After many firmware updates, it still beeps, whenever it wants.
The fourth and last console is Xbox One. No problems at all (except low storage issues, apparently Xbone games takes more space than PS4).
@xTheTrueSeekerx: Although I prefer playing all my PC games with a controller, I had no problem playing Oblivion with Keyboard and Mouse.
My PC also is 100% of the time connected to second monitor - a 40 inch TV, and I have always a running program (that I myself developed) that lets me simulate mouse and keyboard with a controller.
So my PC is actually is a console, but with better hardware, cheaper games, true multitasking and most importantly - SSD. (and yes, unfortunately I have also Xbox One and PS4).
Story? Western propoganda. Thats your story in Rise of the Tomb Raider. Everything that I liked about the 2013 game was ruined by stupid anti soviet plot. Yep, thats what I needed from a video game. Instead learning some ancient history plot I was forced to hear Lara saying "yet another soviet propoganda symbol" when she found any soviet symbol during her exploration. As if we dont have enough of this BS in news media, we are forced to hear it in yet another great game that was ruined by stupid dev decisions.
My console still beeps randomly. Previous generation had problems with PS3 slim (didnt read disks until it was dead after half year, thankfully I had a warranty).
Sony have very poor quality consoles. I dont care how much CPU's this device have - because I cannot use it normally without it causing strange noises until I reset its power.
Before any one says I have problems with my power in my home, I have a good gaming PC and Xbox one that works without any issues.
