Hey guys,

Im having a little trouble starting up a server. I was wondering if a few of you would mind playing on my server just for a little bit of time until it gets going?

I would be happy to do the same for anyone else and I think it is a good way to help each other launch servers.

My server is set for 16 players cause I rotate from close quarters to conquest

The name is -F4t4L- BF3 Elite Server -Sw4g-

If anyone has a personal server they need help getting up, post it below and I'll help as well!

Thanks

I have no dog in this race, but here is my two cents...

I have plenty of apple products (airport extreme, macbook pro, apple tv, ipod, ipad 2, etc.). However, I recently decided to get a Motoroal Droid Razr Maxx from Verizon wireless and I must say it is amazing.

I don't think you can go wrong with either, but I have played with iphones before and I would take my phone over an iphone 4s any day of the week. Don't get me wrong, the iphone has some really nice features, but for me, there really is no comparison. I feel that android has a counter to everything the iphone has to offer (whatsapp vs. imessage for example), plus all of the benefits of an open platform and a bigger screen to boot and the blazing fast 4g LTE network.

Again, just my two cents. Both are excellent phones. I suggest you go into a store and try them both.

This thread is a joke.

Nothing against consoles, but I just built a pc and the difference between the console version and the pc version of BF3 in terms of graphics is ridiculous.

I don't even have a true high-end GPU either.

Try harder.

By the time they release KH3, none will care about this franchise anymore.

What is your current case? and also use the latest drivers that came out a few days ago04dcarraher

I'm using a CM Storm Sniper case with the optional 120mm fan at the bottom installed as well.

Thanks for the driver tip, i will go check them out.

I also can't seem to do a modest overclock of 850/1700/1850 without getting artifacts.

Maybe I am doing something wrong?

I am using Nvidia's beta drivers...if that has anything to do with it.

Hey all,

I recently built a rig and my 560ti classified card under load runs a temp of 82 - 86C.

I've heard of other people who have the same card and it doesn't even go over 70C under load.

Do i have a bad card? Should I try to RMA it?

Sorry, I am not used to working with computer hardware.

[QUOTE="Zeifer21x"]

I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3.

I recently built a gaming rig and it was hard work. Plugging up cords was easy, but tedious. Researching to make sure I had the right motherboard for my cpu, that my aftermarket fan fit my case, etc. was fun, but time-consuming. There was also the possibility of having parts arrive DOA and then i'd have to go through the RMA process.

Since I had never done it before, I had to take my time to make sure I didn't mess anything up and I honestly held my breath when I hit the power button...praying that it would turn on. So building a pc is not super, super easy as some people would like you to believe......

But let me tell you, when my computer turned on, and I finished installing the o.s., software, video card drivers, etc., and was able to load up Battlefield 3....It was all worth it. Every bit of it. And I finally knew why some PC gamers have an air of superiority, even though it isn't right. In my opinion, gaming on pc is sublime. Period. And the mouse + keyboard combo has done wonders for my k/d ratio :P

I'm not trying to knock consoles, just giving my opinion.

I know building a pc or gaming on a pc is not for everyone, but for anyone who has the guts to try to build their own, the satifaction of the build along with the stellar gaming experience might be worth it.

I am certainly not looking back, although i do still like my Xbox 360 and PS3.

I'm sure gear heads and grease monkeys say the same thing about their tricked out cars and trucks. But for most people, they just want to turn their vehicle on and drive.

Nothing wrong with either crowd, but for some reason many PC gamers refuse to acknowledge or give give creedence to the idea that some gamers just want to have a simple machine that plays their favorite games, and nothing more.

And again, this is coming from someone that's currently listening to music on my HTPC via XBMC, all while being controlled with a 360 controller. It's awesome now, but it was a ton of work and a big headache overall. I can perfectly understand why some gamers who want the living rooming gaming experience would want to pass on that venture and instead hook up a PS3 and call it a day.

I know. That is why I stressed that it is not as easy as some would lead you to believe. I never knocked the simplicity of consoles or said that anything was wrong with gaming on consoles at all.

Is your internet slow whilst they're installing? Or does your internet get slow permenantly after they're installed?

xxLordDavidxx

it becomes slow after the updates install. it is a really weird issue.
