A lot of time the money that devs throw into a crappy MP could have made the SP so much better (Dead Space 2 <_<). I prefer single player/co-op games honestly. Maybe it's because I'm getting a little older, but I really only play games for a story or a goal now although I use to play the mindless/endless deathmatches of Halo, CoD, Unreal etc. I know how you feel as far as getting ripped off goes, but with single player games like that you just have to be patient and wait for the price to go down on em (on PC, Bioshock 1 and 2 often go for $5 each during a sale heh).

Nope but I do think they could stand to lose some weight. With all the running they do, muscle mass is by no means what they should be focusing on at the gym.

Bought it as a benchmark for a new gpu but the story and gameplay were rather good. Didn't play 2 or 3, but the original Crysis was a solid game and worth the $10 I paid for it (steam sale).
