I know the video is staged. My point is they're going to try and make it look as good as possible. When it comes to the gamers actually getting their hands on the game that's when things change.

If you never played Halo and you watched a video you would think there was a wide variety of weapons to choose from. They use every gun, however, while actually playing, you see maybe three guns used. It's a completely different game and Crysis 2 should wait to be judged.

I think Brink gets a free pass only because like you said, it's making significant changes to the FPS genre and it's definitely a must-buy for me.

Black Ops allows you to watch first person point of view from any player in the match. Halo only allows you to watch it in first person from yours. I say Black Ops is better just off of that alone. It's stupid watching a gameplay from a 3rd person perspective.

thats not true. you can watch in 3rd person as well and from all the players in the match

Mom & Pop shops have sold the game early and even some big name retailers like BestBuy and Target around the world have broken the street date.

Why is it so hard to believe games get leaked early or that stores break the release date. This happens all the time..

UC2 had no competition in 2009. If it was released this year, it would not have nearly as many GOTY awards.

That's not to say the games were bad because they weren't, it's just that Uncharted was so much better than them. Most of the best games of 09 were also Action games like Batman: AA and Assassin's Creed II. The only competition it had was MW2 and that was due to hype.

This year is much tougher. Mass Effect 2, Starcraft 2, Halo Reach, Super Mario Galaxy, Red Dead Redemption is a pretty solid Top 5 and there's more games I didn't even bother to name.

Obviously that's totally inaccurate considering how much money PC generates, not to mention it's completely ironic. Cows and Lemmings love to use this excuse against PC. However, when it comes to them arguing with each other over 3rd place, sales become irrelevant.
