@joshrmeyer: @joshrmeyer: Yes, I understand your point and hope you do the same with mine. In the end, the essential point is that we can not consider the world from the view we have of it. There are many options for every gamer profile and it would be great if everyone could have every best consoles and enjoy the best experiences they provide, as we do.
See you.
PS. 16 players chat is awesome for strategic coop games like Halo 5's Warzone/Battlefield and it doesn't use the same game server, but an exclusive one just for chat, what improves the game connection quality. :)
@joshrmeyer: But your point has some problems, Josh:
1 - if you say 150 exclusives in 5 years, that means you had enough time to play more 850 multiplataform games at the same time;
2 - If you expect to have the best experience possible for most of your time as a player, you might consider the platform that provides the best experience for multiplataform titles. Many gamers, especially the hardcore ones, are annoyed to learn that for their larger experience other affordable equipment provides better quality;
3 - I am not considering the exclusive games of other platforms, but that can be added as factors if you want. In the current list you said to have 2 exclusive games, which probably enter into the "action-adventure" genre and one of them really its best example (objective criterion, like Metacritic). But on Xbox you find the best new exclusive of many genres also, like FPS, racing, TPS, plataformer, fighting, RTS etc, genres in which PS4 does not have the best exclusives. This may indicate how much the criterion can apply to another platform in the same way;
4 - If you wish, we can also talk about other factors, such as services and network. EA Access, Xbox Game Pass, MODS and crossplay freedom make the first factor an inductive choice. Already the second, for a reality with games more and more with online content, Live admittedly provides the best online structure compared to PSN (dedicated servers, matchmaking system, servers dedicated only for chat with 16 players etc). Remember: most of the time you play connected.
5 - Before you ask: I have both consoles. I use Ps4 only for some exclusive games. For most of my gaming experience, that has an online feature, I use the Xbox. With the arrival of Scorpio this will not change. It will be an enhanced position.
@saurabh002: I agree that the PS4 has some nice story driven action-adventure games like you said. I play all of them. But that's just it: almost every game there is just action-adventure. No other gaming genre.
But if you really enjoy story, try some games like Quantum Break or Ryse. Even if you don't like their gameplay, the story are among the best ones. Just try it.
