speaking of hockey, I played a game today, part of a league, and as my last game as a goalie this season, I finished on a high note, winning 6-3 and bringing my record to 9-2 with a 98% saving percentage, as well as 100% penalty killing.

I don't think I have much else to say, really, but I really wish I had more comments in my journal, nobody in my list seems to do that anymore...

as many of you now know, I recently acquired nhl 06 to replace the broken copy of nhl 2k5...so, naturally, I didn't feel proper without creating my own team, and I did, and entered dynasty mode with it, here's the lines...I think it's accurate

My first offensive line four started with names like Christen, Guggisberg, and Rolston, but they got mad at me for little time, and I traded Rolston and Guggisberg to...some team, for Steve Yzerman and a second round draft pick, and then picked up Deadmarsh and Whitney from free agency.

I've been considering something. Under my current practice schedule, Olaf Kolzig's rating is 98 and Jan Lasak is 88, but I've been thinking, if I win the Stanley Cup (currently 15-1-0-1, first in the league in points and power plays, 29th in penalty kill), I'm going to drop Kolzig and start rebuilding my goalie lineup from there. some hockey fan, take into account the fact that I just picked up a free angent with incredible potential (90 potential, age 24) for goal, and Jan Lasak has a 92 potential rating, higher even than Martin St. Louis' potential rating (72) considering his current overall (95). I'm hoping by the end of the season, the new free agent will be much better, along with Lasak, and a college senior I've been tracking through his season.

I also think I'm gonna drop out the third line of Defense ( the two Markovs) for rookies from the draft.

it was hot as hell this week in montgomery county, as dragonfan can well vouch for you. on like tuesday or wednesday the temperature hit 96 degrees...now picture yourself playing competitive soccer in that temperature. I was really sluggish and whatnot.

my temperature is not 96, my optimum temperature is 35, that's when I go out in shorts and a sweatshirt all day and play soccer a lot. ah...how I miss the winter.

well, sorry guys, but zim909, cop-out king, procrastinator extroardinaire, and king of hyperactivity, have really outdone myself.

I planned to post the reason why I was so sad today, and yesterday, in fact, but yesterday I fell asleep, and today, I simply...forgot to wake up, so I had trouble staying awake and eventually fell back to sleep, but the summary is here.

I had a mental breakdown on monday 'cuz the court thing didn't go as expected and my mom literally rejected me, and my bro did too. but I'm not sure what to do now, it was kinda lame of me to just break down like that, but oh well, I'll find out what happened.

my first rant: cars

I saw a Hummer H3 today. I have nothing to say about them, except for "have fun, West Virginia" land of cheap gas and all country roads. I shan't say anything about west virginians -_-

our bus damn near overturned today, 'cuz we had to dodge around some ass on his cell phone, who, as we blazed by him, flicked us off...seriously....ass.

I swear to god the time we were flying to san diego, as we took off and passed the clouds, I saw a gas price. the problem? it's a ten-hour drive from here to my homeland of Nashville Tennessee.

that's if you're lucky >_<

I saw something else today; a limo. goddamn tinted windows, I could almost see the fat guy inside laughing at us on the bus in front of his friggin' surround sound DVD system.

Thus, I hate cars, and they corrupt, but they are a necessary evil, I suppose.

recent purchases: ESPN NHL 2k5 for the PS2...it...is...AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEE!!! but due to my financial situation, I couldn't get anything else.

I changed my dressing style from nothing in particular to navy blue. Seriously, I went to school today in a navy blue sweatshirt covering up a shirt that said "VIRGINIA" on it. (I'm a stark UVA supporter), but the shirt was adorned with a navy blue background. navy blue shorts, socks, shoes, hell, even my boxers were really dark blue. not goth, but navy blue.

came down with a crappy cold the other day. the symptoms? hmmm...increased bloody nose rate, pouring nose, pounding headache, weakened muscles, and loss of some motor activity in the fingers. all this came free with the strep throat and ear infection...[sarcasm]YAY!!![/sarcasm]
