1st PC's have been around just as long as the first console was out.

2. Consoles and PC's have advantages and disadvantages.

The PC has been treated very well in the past and has had various slumps, and right now its because everyone is jumping on the bandwagon of the console gaming because 'its cheaper' when in reality its almost as expensive as buying a new comp or upgrading an existing one.

Lets see the PS3 was around 600 dollars or higher when it was released and suffered big time from short supply and theft and a few bugs.

The Xbox 360 had a lack of titles out for it so it didn't hit off as quickly but picked up soon with the release of Call of Duty 2 because it was an Xbox 360 title that the PC gamers got the shaft on.

the Wii launch was the most successfuland was able to sell quickly at its nice attractive price 200 dollars i beleive and the only draw back on that was the wrist thing and the graphics capabilities.

Lets see a bit of Console vs PC.

Everytime a new Console comes out you have to buy a whole new system vs just swapping out parts for a PC. The upside is the console and can perform at a steady rate but also can suffer from overheating because of the amount of hardware in the little tiny box.

PC's maintenance can be easily fixed if you are a smart buyer and what I mean by that is you do the research find the parts you want for the best price and wahla your system can last quite awhile with every couple years or so a swap of parts out here and there or if something gets physically damaged which if you are vigilant won't happen.

PC games have a tendency to get cheaper overtime but ive seen console game titles stay up in the high pricey range way longer than a PC game title.

Fact: PC gaming will not die its just natural that consoles have slumps and sometimes the PC has slumps big whoop get over it and you shouldn't be disappointed because there are plenty of games on the way that are going to be wonderful for the PC the slump is over!

So to sum it up console vs PC they can be just as expensive once you buy all the stuff you need or want for the console and PC. So cost is pretty close. Gaming style well some games are designed for the Consoles and some are not just the way it is. If you pay attention to developers you can keep track of who tends to do better work on what type of game

In my opinion PC games are easier to play the keyboard and mouse will always be able to ace any console player just because the controls are more user friendly. I have also played the console dating back to the 1st Nintendo all the way up to the current stuff. I like the Playstation more than the Xbox just because of the controller style isn't so hard on the hands.

So everyone quit crying about the PC is being treated like a stepchild and do some research its being treated just fine except by LUCASARTS because they decided to give you console guys the new STAR WARS?!?!?!? :(

Well since im a westerner :P.

 I enjoyed Stalker very much. I finally beat it after much toil and hardship. I probably rushed through it without running around and doing alot of the side missions but I did alot of them. The weapons were just spectacular. Jamming when they aren't taking care of and the like. Armor was cool. I liked the powersuit I was a walking tank for a bit. I didn't like that you couldn't repair suits of armor that would of been really cool.

The sounds were well done. The Russian was done really good and I am only a 1st year and it sounds awesome. The graphics could of been improved some but hey they were good for a game that had a very open ended atmosphere and the like. I liked the fact that the AI was very intelligent. It gave me a challenge I haven't seen in most video games because developers are lazy to date except for Half Life 2 and that was a great game too.

 I am glad GSC Game World is continuing to make more games along the Stalker series. I give them high praise for what they accomplished! Its glad to know Russians can make video games :D

I would say that some gamers have no life those that play WoW 20 hours plus aday kind of scare me because thats all they talk about they wonder why their grades slip.......gee 20 hours plus school......not do homework well you can logically figure it out from there.

I myself have been gaming since i was around 7 to 8 years old....Many of you probably don't remember but I use to play Math Blaster.....and Number Munchers for hours. I love video games it is my hobby.

As for me I probably have a little of a life but I am happy. I have a somewhat good relationship with my family although divorces don't help. I go to school 5 days a week I am getting another job because my last boss left town for the semester (work study jobs are bloody hell :( ). I do my homework for the most part sometimes I procrastinate. I socialize with alot of people at college whether it be people I barely know or the lovely coffee ladies :). I like Star Wars and Star Trek so....yeah she really has no basis and neither does the scientist saying it increases aggression. I am rather calm and mellow too until like most people someone tries to belittle me, intentionally make up things about me, or tries to harm me or another person.

So yeah I think your teacher is a bit of her rocker.
