I don't think any other game even comes close. If you're into realism then you should check it out. The developers are the best around and are constantly tweaking and making small fixes to the game. It also has a steady stream of new maps coming out thatnks to a great community. It's the best 20 bucks you could ever spend.
I say, without a doubt that it's Red Orchestra Ostfront. I'm not usually into realism as is evidenced by Call of Duty United Offensive being my favorite game, but RO:O is damn fun. The support from the developers is the best around and the game is kept fresh by a wide variety of maps. If you haven't tried it, spend the $19.95 and give it a go.
