The sound setting doesn't really matter as that have nothing to do with the transfer of the file itself but for the playback I believe. For your 2nd question I have no idea as I have not used a iPod of any kind before.

Really hard to say how it will sell, its a very different game that some people will steer clear off because there aren't 'things to kill'.

Personally this game did slip me by but I was reading about it last night and I can honestly say I am very excited. The creativity of it, the sheer depth of the game and the community it will create. I can't wait. Hope to see you all on there in October:D

like i sed ive had my ps3 for bout 3 weeks now and im shocked. I already own a 360 a wii and a ds. i thought the ps3 would own the 360 in all areas but it just doesn't. i bought mgs4 with it and finished it within 2 days and it has no replay value. since thats the only gd exclusive it has i see no point in keeping my ps3 and am going to trade it in what a waste of £300

Own in all areas there is nothing that own in all areas. Though if you don't like the PS3 because MGS4 have no replay value since it's the only good exclusive to you when there are plenty of others and doesn't completely meet your expectations we're not going stop you.
