Multiplayer's fun when you have a team that knows how to stick together. I had some great matches a few days ago with some of the people around here. It does take some getting use to, but I like that it has a more tactical pace compared to the other multiplayer game's I've played.

I've been a bit more preoccupied with playing through on Survivor. It's not too bad so far, but it's crazy how few supplies you can find this time around. I played on normal first time and I had an entire arsenal and then some in my backpack. Now, I'm lucky to find enough supplies to make a shiv every couple hours or so. You really have to approach your battles with some thought or risk losing your supplies all too quick. It's quite thrilling, though there are some areas up ahead that I'm a little worried about.
Talking about the Winter part of the game. Easily the most challenging part of the game, especially fending off the infected with David. I already died a bunch on normal, I can't imagine how many tries this is going to take...
Finished it up. That ending left me with mixed feelings, but man, the journey was something else. What a game, consistently engaging, even if I wasn't always having fun with it. I felt pretty drained by the end of the game.

Now to try it on Survivor!

Holy crap, this is huge. Glad to see they're finally changing their minds about their drm, though I have to admit it was entertaining to see Microsoft trying to spin it like a good thing. So much for that shared game family plan though.

Little more than halfway through the game. I'm genuinely enjoying everything this game has to offer. It's not blowing my mind or anything like that, but it is consistently interesting and the strength of the characters keeps me hooked. Game's a little too easy on normal difficulty, I've had plenty of almost everything here, so I've playing a little more recklessly to get experiment with all the toys. I REALLY like the bow in this game.

I'm kinda surprised at how many people are bored by the beginning of the game. I haven't been bored once in four hours. Loving this game.rragnaar

After that impressive opening, everything else felt slow and by the numbers. We've all done this before, with all the slow walking and dragged by hand to the next area. After about 4 hours in, the training wheels are off and you finally have some freedom to explore. I didn't mind the beginning, but I got a bit of deja-vu, given how long it took before I could really play.

So this game is pretty darn good. I can appreciate a game for taking a more deliberate pace, but it sure took sometime before I really got to play the game. Been playing with the Listen Mode off and it's been thrilling and exhausting with these cat and mouse battles. I'm apparently only 25% into the game so far, and I'm expecting great things. The attention to detail continues to impress, and the way Naughty Dog writes the characters and dialogue make them a lot better than most games put out. Whatever project ND plans to do next, I hope Sony continues to give them full reign, be a new IP or whatever, because they've been on a hell of a roll this gen, and this game just has me thinking on what they could be doing with new hardware.

I'm pretty impressed with PS+. Didn't think much of it at first, but the amount of stuff they've put out is really impressive. Definitely going to try X-com and LBP karting. Too bad I don't have a Vita, cause Virtue's Last Reward is what I'm most interested in.

I enjoy competitive games to a certain extent. Every time I see other people play, it looks exciting, fun, and fast paced Then I get around to playing it, and I can't do any of the things I see other people do. I usually come around back to Halo every now and then, because it's the only multiplayer that I can actually play decently. Everything plateau's after a while and I find myself a little too frustrated to enjoy myself, which defeats the purpose of why I play games in the first place. I keep the competitive stuff to a minimum right now. Co-op, on the other hand, is something I prefer much more.

I figured they were going to change Snakes voice to match the fact that he's getting older. It wouldn't be the same without Hayter's gravelly voice, but I'm okay with either Hayter or someone else at this point. Can't wait to see some more MGS5 footage, though.
