Let's see. I beat both halo games. Watched all the cutscenes. And missed one minor detal. Is it really that bad I missed it when they mentioned his boring generic name?

By that I meant he does the mission without question. Wheras Capn. America, who is similar. Questions everything and concerns about things in a more human manner.

Also, the whole "YOU are the main character" thing needs to die. That is why I perfer the story of FFVII over Doom 3.

It's just that he's an emotionless dog of the millitary. The character in itself is boring to me.

I thought the arbiter was a much cooler character than the MC. The arbiter is looking for redemption, knows he will die, all that good stuff -- he seems more 'real' than the MC when you think about it...and he's not even a human! The MC is just...a super-soldier. No emotion, no nothing. It's not all that engaging.tskeeve
