[QUOTE="MJPK"]People who say this haven't actually finished the game.Combat was way too easy imo. Most of the time u just pick auto-attack.
gamebreakerz__
I selected auto attack the whole game
1. Fallout 3- oblivion with bad shooting mechanic
2. Assasins Creed- I hate everything about this game.
3. FFXIII- This game should have gotten much worse review score
The battle system was terrible. They made it so simple its stupid. It can basicly be broken down into 3 or 4 step flowchart
1. buff/debuff
2. build gauge
if health < 40% switch ot heal group then go back to #2
if gauge is full switch to attack group then return to #2
if buff/debuff weres off return to #1
I beat the whole game using this simple strategy and it was a cakewalk. All you have to do is follow the chart and mash autoselect and your good.
FFXIII is one of the worst games I own. It has a terrible story, the worst battle system in a RPG, its bascilyy one straight line dungeon, and of course you got bad characters like Sazh, Hope, and Vanille. If it wasnt for the crazy production values this game would have gotten terrible reviews.
Better is subjective but the PS3 has much more veriety. On 360 Bascicly you got gears, halo, and L4D. On PS3 you got Socom, Resistance, Killzone, Little Big Planet and Warhawk.
Imo both these devs suck, their games are souless, Bioware is better then Bethesda, but still needs to get some more talent imo. They are extremely talented in a lot of areas but the fail hard somewhere, their games always feel the same, it's like once you've played a Bioware game you've played them all. Bethesda imo is the most shocking "successfull" dev ever. I don't understand how their games get such high scores. FriendlyGaimz
I know what you mean with Bethesda once you get past the open world you realize how bad alot of things are in the game. I tried to play oblivion again and I couldnt even make it out of the sewers becuase the gameplay is so boring.
High production costs this gen killed JRPGs. Japanese companys just cant compete with US companys. Thats why most of the games dont sell well becuase most have **** graphics and no advertising. The only company that can is Square Enix but instead of trying to appeal to the JRPG fan they are trying to bring in new fans and thats why they havent made a good game in 10 years.
