You're looking at it from the wrong perspective. Yes, Ring of Honor is a business like any other, but what they're trying to achieve is a gradual renissance, built on a different business model that's more of a throwback to the golden age. The days of "big events and big matches." When everything meant something. They are trying to bring back Pro-Wrestling. Will it work? Time will tell. Evolution is a slow process. It took thousands upon thousands of years for our species to become what it has. When they grow large enough and it's clear that their product appeals to a large enough group of people, then TV would be the next step. That could happen anywhere between 15 - 50 years, if there are no major snags along the way.
They're not "stuck" anywhere. TV is the component of the product, not the other way around. It's not as simple as just getting a timeslot for exposure. Once you're in the television business, it's **** blitzkrieg. You have to deal with the network, advertisers, keeping your programming afloat, etc. At this juncture, RoH is nowhere near ready for that, just as ECW wasn't. As long as they keep selling DVD's and drawing in more fans (which attendance numbers indicate is happening), they'll continue to grow.
