If Eddie were still alive we wouldn't be having this disscussion. He would have been world champion up until Wresltemania and lost it to Orton as it was originally planned.

Actually, i'm pretty sure Mysterio would've gotten it. Back in early 2005, reports were going around that Rey was in line for a huge push. And that sort of came to frution when Rey was included in several rat races for the world title as well as being put over 38983847874 times by Eddie. I read a note back in August from a reliable newsletter (99% sure it was the Torch) that there was talk of Eddie/Rey as a potential main event, which was obviously scrapped for Orton/Batista. Throw in Orton's backstage attitude which prevented him from getting the belt this year anyway and it's a pretty believable scenario.

I disagree. It may be a rehash, but it's a fresh rehash. If that makes any sense at all.

:D

Great news. I liked Joey, but RAW is J.R.'s house and ONLY J.R.'s house until the day he dies.

[QUOTE="_Muta"]I wouldn't mind seeing one last short term Taker run. Just give him the right opponents and he's gold.DirtyDarren

Well depending on what the WWE decides to do with Kurt Angle, he may be out of that picture.  I could definitely see Undertaker pulling out some good matches with Benoit and Booker T though... of course I bet the WWE is just itching the have the Undertaker vs. GG V:2 happen whether or not he's champion or not.

Benoit, definitely. That's a match everyone has been itching to see. If Angle could have as good of a match as he did with Taker at No Way Out (I implore EVERYONE to see it if they haven't already. It's a true MOTY contender) , then there's no doubt in my mind that Benoit could have an even better match with him, considering that Benoit is a better worker than Angle.

Booker, on the other hand, is past his prime. He's clearly lost his passion (who could blame him, really....) and almost everyone his performances throughout the past couple of years have been lackluster. Besides, him and Taker already stank up the joint once at Judgment Day 2004.

If only Eddie were still alive..... Eddie/Taker could've been something awesome.

Edit: I'd also like to see HBK get moved to over Smackdown (long overdue.) for another HBK/Taker feud.

Ending the brand extension wouldn't hurt the product nor help it. You'd simply get more Hunter, more Taker, more Angle, more Mark Henry, and more HBK, and less Paul London, less Chris Benoit, less Carlito, and less Rey Mysterio. I find it very irritating that people offer this solution like it's some cure-all without considering the consequences. Bad writing and booking is bad writing and booking, no matter how you slice it or dice it. Downsizing it won't make it any better or worse. You'll just have less of an opportunity to enjoy the product as a fan.

Where will you be sitting?

Kotenks

Just one seat down from the seat i had at 2/11. Section A, Row 2, Seats 17 and 18. It's insane, my buddy and i showed up so many times on the 2/11 DVD that we were practically a part of the show. The show might've been lackluster all around, but anyone who wants to see Muta with his homage to Bryan Danielson hobo beard (which i finally shaved about a month ago, thank god) at his absolute markish worst shouldn't pass this show up.

[QUOTE="MistaMike54"]

this SD! looks absolutely terrible...im still going to watch, but thats because i have nothing better to do...

hardy, lashley, burchill, and helms all on Velocity-bad idea....

the great khali interrupting a cruiser weight match that had the possibility to be great, was another bad idea...

henry over rey, even if jbl was with him, you can't have your face champion loose like that...

finlay over benoit- i hope they got this wrong, and finlay cheated to win... or that was a bad move as well...

reyrey11

kinda reminds me of when finlay used to interrupt the juniors matches

Or the Divasearchsluts randomly parading through.
