Alright so sticks of DDR2 800 ram and a motherboard that only supports up to that, can handle this GDDR3 video card right?

Motherboard memory specifications only refer to system memory, not video memory.

No worries; as long as your motherboard can interface with the video card properly (via PCI-Express in this case), it'll work.

but if my ram I am going to have is DDR2 800, then it won't be able to support this GDDR3? Ram == system memory right?

This motherboard's Memory Standard is DDR2 800 . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136043 However all of the video cards, even the medium ones (like 80 - 100$) say they support GDDR3 such as this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127286 Does that mean this motherboard can't use it? I thought motherboard's memory type they use only apply to ram, am I still right on that?
