Prom is approaching and some of you may remember a girl that I liked. I posted a blog about her some time ago. Well, I still like her and I wanted to invite her to the Prom. I didn't had the chance to talk to her alone so a girl friend of mine, her cousin told her in front of everybody: Do you want to go to the Prom with João (MY NAME!! You can call me Johnny, BTW:))?

I was a bit mad at the time but then I thought I would not have the courage to invite her. She answered: Sorry, I'm not going to the Prom. Okay, I thought, I will not go because I don't want to go alone and I only want that girl to go with me. That happened yesterday and today, most of my cl@ssmates were always telling her: "C'mon go, he's a nice guy" and stuff like that but she's very stubborn, so she didn't said if she accepted.

Well, tomorrow is the last day to buy the tickets and I'm still hoping that she will change her mind and accept. If not I will have to kneel and ask her to go with me in front of everybody...:P

I don't need to say that I'm at FF8's final boss because this is all about it...

1st try: Lost on the third form. It was just to check how strong it was, of course!

2nd try: Lost on fourth and last form, because Rinoa died and vanished before I could revive her. She vanished really fast. 1 and half hours thrown away because of 3 seconds...

So here's my ultimate tactic for defeating the powerful Ultimecia that isn't so strong, after all:

1st form:

Obtain my desired party (because the fight starts with random characters.

Cast shell and triple on everyone.

Kick her ass.

2nd form:

Always keep shell on because of that incredibly strong "shockwave pulsar" and cast a very slow GF when "it" launches it and with that the GF takes all the damage.

Keep Haste on too.

Triple Holy and triple Meteor him.

Cast Aura on Squall and use Renzokuken Always I can.

Try to save Mega Elixirs (3 of them) and Heroes (6).

Use meltdown.

3rd form:

The same tactic used in the second form.

4th form:

Same tactic used in the previous two forms, plus this:

She launches Hell's Judgment in the beginning so I'll use a Mega Elixir after that but not before I use another Renzokuken.

Always keep healing myself, always!

When her Belly becomes vulnerable, immediately destroy it before she draws Apocalypse.

Start using Heroes

She's not that strong and if none of my characters vanishes I should beat her easily.

For those who beat her, any suggestions?

I've not been on GS since Monday and to tell the truth, I got nothing exciting to talk about. Still playing FF8 (great game), watched 50 Naruto episodes (great anime) and I've been watching Death Note too. So I decided to make this... Anime is my new addiction. I already liked anime but I was never addicted to it. In 24 hours I watched 23 Naruto episodes and now, while I'm writing this, I'm DLing the Devil May Cry anime.

I still game, though. In FF8: CD2 should be almost in the end because I'm in a "critical" part and I think I need to develop more because I'm with 33 hours and I got everybody on level 25 and Squall on 45. The leveling up system is cool. The EXP is the same for each level and that makes training a bit less boring.

About FF8: I already played 22 hours and all the action is finally getting started, I'm loving the story and the sci-fi environment is really amazing. The combat is a bit easy because I can summon whenever I want. I was reading the review and it says that later summons will become useless and I hope so because there's no fun in always killing guys with summons because physical attacks are weak.

I love my banner.

I started learning how to use GIMP last night. I went to the GIMP union and started checking some tutorials. In half hour, I started making some "art" and I gotta say it's easier than I thought. I only can the most basic stuff but I'm learning and now I'm always trying new things. I only tried making banners until now.

#2 - Supernatural

Supernatural is an American cult television paranormal drama television series, filmed in Vancouver, Canada, that debuted on September 13, 2005 on the WB, and is now part of The CW's lineup. This is about Kingdom Hearts.

(Possibly spoiling because I'm gonna talk about the ending but I'm not gonna mention names)

There I was... at the world's end. I've beaten the Dragon, the guy with the cooler keyblade and the guy that thinks he's the strongest man on earth. Big shame for him because he was optional. I'm better, I can choose who I fight but there was one that I could not beat... the guy that wanted to control a meteor. Remember him? White hair, lots of air conditioner, I think you get the picture. He was optional too, as I said, I choose who I fight...

Not so optional were the weird dark dungeons and the black ugly weird guys, some of them being white now. This is really the world's end, black ugly weird white guys, what sorcery is this? The duck was there and so the guy with back problems. They were stronger and so was I. After slaying guys and a gigantic black weird ugly gargoyle I arrive at the door. At the other side there he was. White hair, not so much hair conditioner... 1st boss: clear. 2nd boss: clear, 3rd boss: clear. I'm I done yet? He takes me to the Darkness, to Kingdom hearts. Now I get the name of the game...

Too bad for him, I can fly. I just have to believe. 4th boss: nope, 4th boss, take 2: no, 4th boss, take 3: Clear. I'm alone. "Where are the duck and the guy?" I fell more into Darkness. "There you are! That back doesn't cheat anyone" Now we were two. I've finally started using the brain, that's how I defeated the dragon, so 5th boss: clear. The duck joined us after that and then we joined forces the defeat him. ???!!! 4th boss again: clear. Was it the end? I closed the door to darkness. I was a hero and so, I got my reward... chasing a dog with a letter in its mouth. I didn't even get the girl. Maybe I'll get her in KH II, who knows...

Review

Written tests are taking over my life. School: upcoming written tests, Maths, Psychology, boring stuff. Games: TESTS! Final Fantasy 8 has also tests to raise the SeeD rank. They're very cool, but I take more than 10 times before I complete them. Tricky questions they have. Indeed...

I've been very busy studying but I've been finding a way to play FF8 once in a while. Already 8 hours. In the beginning it was very odd because the combats are long and there's no MP but I'm getting used to it. The story is starting slowly to unfold and Rinoa is very cool. Just look at her smile in my avatar. Who doesn't love that face?!!

Anyway, I finished Kingdom Hearts on Tuesday and I'll talk about that in the next blog and you'll actually know what I'm talking about.:P

Nothing else to add, I'll just leave you with #4 and #3. Very nice shows, they are.

#4 - The Simpsons
