My controller broke up!!!!!!!!!

Yea, it's true. My controller is past. It happened Monday, when I was playing PES. My left analog stick broke up. I opened it and saw that there was no way I could fix it. However, I have another remote, too bad it isn't Dualshock so, I cannot play all the games I have. It doesn't work with Final Fantasy:(, but it works with MGS and Okami:D. Now the only way to play FF is by borrowing a controller to someone. I'm not buying any soon, because I got to save money for the PSP.

Here's a photo of it (don't mind the background, it's my bed):

BROKEN!!

I decided to take a few more photos, so here they are:

My great games:

Games

The oldest one:

FF IX

My not so original great games:

DVD

The Big Mamma and her old new son:

Big Mamma

This afternoon I'm going to assist a game from the European Indoor Soccer championship with my sister and my father, that is taking place in a city near were I live, Gondomar.

That's all and Viva Portugal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: I'm in the PAL region, the box arts are a bit different (this one is not much different):

Tekken 5

More FF XII? Yes, please!!

Lately, it's been FF, FF and more FF. I spent the whole Sunday playing it. I only stopped to watch LOST. During that time, I developed the characters, so here it is:

Total time - aprox. 44 hours.

Vaan - lv.50

Balthier - lv.50

Fran - lv.40

Basch - lv.40

Ashe - lv.50

Penelo - lv.50

I'm now in the Feywood, heading for the Shard.

Today I picked some tracks from Devil May Cry 3 and they're very cool. I'm still thinking of how to get money for the PSP, but I'll come up with something, I hope.

Now I'm gonna play more FF. See ya.

Is it a shame to have Swap?

A few weeks ago I just got Swap magic 3.6. It's really good for me, because I can play all the games that I want and pay much less than if I bought the original DVD's. Some may think this is bad and that people should buy original games in order to help stores and sellers, but I think that if players don't get the chance to play many games because of the price, they should get Swap. Let's look at my case: I have my PS2 for more than 4 years and I only bought 22 games for it. Shouldn't I get the chance to play all the games I want and notbuying one from month to month or maybe more time? Without Swap, I had to wait until the price drops and only then buy the game. There are no rentals here and I don't have much money to spend. My wish list has over 30 games!!!

In the end, I think Swap is a valuable choice for people to enjoy their PS2 to the max. What is your opinion about it?

What do you think about Swap?

PSP, worth the money?

There are so many games coming out for the next-gen consoles. COD 4, Assassin's creed, uncharted. I definitely have to buy one of the new consoles. I'll probably get a PS3 but now I want to buy a PSP. Do you think it's a good purchase?

In Final Fantasy XII I'm doing fine. I found out a new method of training. My party is constituted by only 2 characters and the player you don't control, I put them in berserk. It will attack much faster and his attacks will be stronger. With this method I can kill tough enemies easier and faster and win a lot of experience.

Well, that's all said for today.

A blog post that probably only FFXII players understand

I'm back on FF XII at full potential. I almost never play MGS 3 now, only play it when FF gets bored, which isn't the case now. It's so exciting. I'm heading to Archadia now. I just crossed the Salikawood and entered in Archadian territory. Here are my statistics now:

Total time: aprox. 28 hours.

Vaan - lv.28, 1 quickening

Balthier - lv.30, Belias

Fran - lv.27, 1 quickening

Basch - lv.30, 1 quickening

Ashe - lv.32, 1 quickening, Mateus

Penelo - lv.30, 1 quickening

I made 57-chain battles and 7-chain quickenings.

For those who already gone through this part, is this any good?

By the way, do you know any good places to develop the characters?

Just a curiosity

You may probably know this or you may not. Do you know what is Gamespot's most underrated game?

Is Big rigs: Over the road racing for the PC.

It was given the score of 1.0 and has a funny video review showing parts of the Gameplay.

This is Gamespot's worse rated game. What about you?

What is the worse game you ever played?

Just for the record, my worst game ever was True Crime: New York City. So many glitches!!!

I'm really, really pissed of!!! (not with you)

Getting away form the games subject for a while, I decided to share with you my school tests results and my anger that is related to my maths teacher. Here are the results:

The score goes from 0 to 20.

A score higher than 9.5 is a positive and a score lower than 9.5 is a negative, because 9.5 in average makes 10.

I made only four tests:

Psychology - 11

Portuguese - 9.5

Geometry (drawing) - 11.25

Maths - 9.2

All the scores are very weak, but I'm truly angry with the one that I obtained in Maths. I didn't deserve it. It was all because of an exercise in which my teacher didn't explained correctly what to do and so, I did it "wrong" because she understood the exercise in another different way. I tried to convince her that my way of doing it was the right one but she didn't listen to me, and because of that I had a negative score.

I'm really angry!!!!!!!

Anyway, I think I have to study more for the upcoming tests, because I can do much better than I did this time and also to prove so (the psychology score was also unfair, my teacher is a bastard!!!).

Need a little help, please!

If you're a FF XII player can you help me? There two mist abilities, summon and quickenings, right? The thing is that when I perform a quickening I don't know what to do when the time limit appears. I press all the buttons but nothing happens and I can't take damage to my enemies.

Does someone know how what to do when the time is counting down?

Final Fantasy XIII plot (what is known so far)

(This information was all taken from WIkipedia).

Final Fantasy XIII

Lightning

Two locations have been revealed to the public so far; Pulse and Cocoon. The world of Final Fantasy XIII is called Pulse. The overworld is plagued by monsters, though little else is known about it.

Cocoon was created by a Crystal as the ideal environment for humans to live in. It is a haven for humankind against Pulse. Cocoon is a beautiful city floating in the sky. It is defended by the Crystal which created it and many advanced technologies. The Crystal creates many things for the city and its inhabitants, such as machines for the people to use. It also produces living beings and raises them.

The people of Cocoon perceive everything outside of Cocoon (the world of Pulse) as dangerous, and fear it. Those who have been influenced by the people of Pulse (Outsiders), are quarantined by the "Holy Government" of Cocoon, and deported to Pulse. The prisoners shown in the E3 2006 trailer are being deported.

Final Fantasy versus XIII (action RPG)

Main character

As with every Final Fantasy, the ****of this world is unique, appearing to blend both modern and medieval aesthetics. The main character's country appears to be very advanced and modern, as one example, while neighboring countries appear to have remained in an era similar to the Middle Ages. The main power in the world are the Crystals. All the countries (aside from the protagonist's) have had them at one time, only to lose them in continual warfare. They had pooled their resources into weapons, granting them advanced rifles rather than swords and magic. Now, only the main character's country has a Crystal, triggering debate over its use as it is beneficial to the military. Recently, a peace treaty was discussed (Mentioned in the radio in the JF trailer). However, marauders with guns invade the city as the main character battles them, disrupting the peace.

Tetsuya Nomura has said "Versus XIII is supposed to resemble the modern-day world. I wanted to make this world resemble our world we live in today. This is integrated to the story as well but the reason I chose to use a Shakespeare quote at the beginning of the trailer is to make the tie with the real world we live today".

Final Fantasy agito XIII (mobile)

Agito main character

The game is set in a magic school named Akademia, and will gradually expand to the larger world outside of the school. It is described as an online RPG, but not "massively multiplayer". "Agito" in Latin roughly means "I engage in motion" (and is also the root from which the English "agitate" is derived).

There are twelve characters revealed, all twelve appear to be students. Weapons include longsword, katana, handguns, a shotgun, a mace, a bow and arrow, a spear, a scythe, an extending flail, bare fists, a flute and a deck of tarot cards. The Moogle, used in previous Final Fantasy games, is commonly mistaken as the 13th character. The character with the deck of cards has been revealed to have a greater importance than the other characters (shown in a pamphlet at the 2006 Tokyo Game Show).

"Taking a break" on Final Fantasy XII

I'm stopping playing FF XII so often. I will only play it 3 or 4 days per week. The thing is that I don't see myself finishing the game any soon. I think I will take more than a month or two to finish it because I want to complete the entire game (including the side quests, licenses, ...) I have Okami and MGS 3, that I haven't played yet so, I will finish them and then have all the time to do the same with FF. I will start with MGS.
