no really man plz respond to my question " Do you know or not know how to spell?"oscar530

For someone who seems incapable of writing a sentence with proper grammar, and uses abbreviations, you sure are critical of spelling. Ironic eh?

I have to wonder about the age and intelligience level of some gamers sometimes. Already today, I have seen a thread saying that the 360 has more variety in next-gen titles than the ps3, and another about a guy going to sell his ps3 and get a 360. Are you people kidding me? Are some of you that unaware of the ps3's library? There are loads of great games for ps3 in all genres. If I already had a ps3, there is no way I would sell it for a 360, atleast not until the 360 had an actual library of games to choose from.

You guys bash the ps3 all day, but you don't have the stones to atleast give one a try. If you didn't enjoy the 30 minutes you spent playing at a friend's house, it was probably because, you were playing a game that you wouldn't have liked in the first place. If I were to guess, I would say that right now, there are atleast 5 games that anyone could really enjoy for the ps3. Give one a try, it doesn't hurt.

This is System Wars if you haven't noticed; the home of ignorance, stupidity and fanboyism. Please don't expect to read anything remotely close to intelligent here. I would expect someone called Dylan to be able to figure that out.

You could always try and learn the language...

all i know in japanese is 'konichua'
it means hello
and 'sionara' means goodbye

Close, but no cigar.

Its 'konnichiwa' ( こんにちわ ) which translates literally as 'today', but has the meaning of hello in normal day to day conversation.

and 'sayounara' ( さようなら ) which does indeed have the meaning goodbye, but it often said when you don't expect to see the other person for quite a while.

;)

This is the first effort by Jack Thompson that I WHOLEHEARTEDLY APPROVE. I can't stand playing against kids in Gears of War, and I would most certainly would enjoy Halo 3 without them either. MyopicCanadian

QFT. I think this is one of Thompson's more sane rants; kids shouldn't be playing it in the first place, and as an added bonus less annoying idiots online.

Thats Parralex Mapping, you can tell because it still looks bumpy when you look at it from different angles.

Bump Mapping is angle dependant and would only look bump when viewed straight and not from and angle.

I find it great that people on System Wars are using 'big words' to try and put their point across, but it will help if you actually know something about the subject before using them.

Bump mapping is a general term, and describes a whole array of techniques that are used to simulate a higher polygon count on an object. Normal mapping and parralex mapping are in fact both bump mapping techniques.

Just to remphasize: Bump mapping= Normal + Parralex

[QUOTE="_shadow99"]I think the TC has failed to take into account the immense Wii sales, if this trend continues then after a while a realitive flop by a 3rd party will still amount to more units sold than the majority of games on rival systems. Now take into account how cheap it is to develop for the Wii and you have even more reason to support them.Timstuff

O RLY? Then why aren't we seeing that already? Wii is falling right into the same pitfall that GC did.

I think the key phrase here is 'after a while', not the time it takes to read my post. We aren't seeing this yet because the sales gap between the consoles is still somewhat close, if the Wii can keep up its current momentum that I see no reason for this to not happen.
