Nintendos first party games are intended for young children or in other words kids meaning Nintendo caters to kids, now that Im older the only game that comes from Nintendo that has enough depth and difficulty to satisfy me is MP.-Sir-Poof-

games accessible to anyone, thats what nintendo makes, and thats who they cater to, everyone.

now,  barbies horse riding adventure..  or seaseme street abc 123  ..  they are kiddy games.  and, well,   they appear on every console.

seriously, the boxing works fine..  I find most people dislike it because they dont know how to play.   my mii is at about 2600 skill in boxing, so its obvioulsy possible.   The controls could be a little more responsive, but they work fine.

most of my friends hated wii boxing till I actually showed them how to play,  now they love the thing, and are dying to beat me down in a match.

just be patient, its tons of fun.

whats the point of getting it if u use a Gamecube controller they would never make it like that unless there idiots :lol:kazekage1234

they said that if the controller interferes with the enjoyment of the game they would use non motion sensitive input.

that is a good thing...    they know when not to mess with something.

and please dont go on a "wii is a gamecube with a new controller" rant, cus that is far from the truth.

[QUOTE="axt113"][QUOTE="Vadrick"][QUOTE="axt113"][QUOTE="Vadrick"][QUOTE="Riviera_Phantom"][QUOTE="Vadrick"][QUOTE="jedigemini"]

[QUOTE="foxhound_fox"]I actually do not see it happening... at least not for a while. Depending on whether or not when the big Wii games are released.Vadrick

delusional much?

Wii 6.5 million/5 months

360 10 million/17 months

fractions... learn them

Except you forget the fact that the Wii has nothing for you to look foward too unless you are a sweaty fat kid who wants to get some exercise playing a PS2 port with a Wii remote are a 12 year old that wants another Mario game.

Are you saying Mario will have no effect on Wii sales at all?

Um no it wont not much because people who want a mario game already know they want the Wii. The people dying for the Wii right now are hardcore Nintnedo fanboys and casuals and casuals arent going to want it forever.

So it will affect sales since most people who want a Wii don't have it yet

I think the Wii wil be lucky if it surpasses 20 mill in its lifetime both the 360 and PS3 will blow that out of the water pretty much evey analyist agrees its a fad hell i watched something on CNBC the other day they were talking about it being a fad . I dont hate Nintendo but the Wii is trash and if it does win it will be a pitty for the game industry.

Its already past 6.5 million, and Devs are shifting over to it, you're in denial if you think it will only get to 20 million

It wont beat eitehr the 360 or the PS3 and the only thing devs are doing for it is rehasing PS2 and gamecube ports the future lineup looks horrible.

dude, you keep saying that the wii screams fad..  well you scream angry fanboy.

nothing but ps2 ports eh?  devs just jumped on the wii bandwagon recently once they saw what  a runaway success it was.  now it takes at least 9 months to develop a solid title.  the greatest games tend to be in development for years.   so what can these devs do in the meantime to show their support and make some cash?   use ports and rehashes in order to have something out there until they can get the real games out.

Just do it. They can't really do anything but ask you to take it off. They probably don't care anyway."Oh no, we lost 5$ on a 10+year old game that were overcharging for!"

They're not gonna care.

ilikechicken13

shhhhhhh    why does everyone and their brother seem to think those games are overpriced.   what defines overprices?  worth of the game?    something which is completely subjective...    so even if you think theyre overpriced, they arent really.    or are..  depending on how much of a post modernist you are

if i format my wii and i can re-download the game will it whipe my point balance? can my point balance go below zero?Potato_Guy

the point balance should be the same, and im not sure.    but so long as a credit card hasnt been used on your wii, they would be hard pressed to track you down.

if youve linked it with a mynintendo account they could find out as well.

but really.  its  like 6$     what does it really matter?

[QUOTE="KewDrew"][QUOTE="mattyftm"]Add the price of a PS2 ontop of that and you have the price that it will cost many people.Mister-Sparkle

What gamer that's serious enough to be paying for old-school games on the Wii's VC doesn't own a PS2?

I'd agree with that 100% if it weren't for one thing: Nintendo Fanboys

chip on your shoulder much?

ps2 wasnt worth my money, neither was a gamecube for a long time.    not everyone owns a ps2, and many of those people arent nintendo fanboys.

[QUOTE="jfkunrendered"]They are trying to make a quick buck.chris3116

That and because they didn't anticipated the success of the console.

exactly, they need to get titles out to show theyre supporting it, to show that their serious about getting games out, even if they are less than spectacular or ports. sonic and the secret rings for one looks amazing if you ask me. so not all devs are lazy, or just out for a quick buck.   but they need to show something in the meantime and get used to programing for the wiimote.
