Sony, even before the US release of the ps3 said that the first ps3s will play old games using hardware then they'll move it to software, just like the ps2 did

first of, only Blue Dragon came out and they did buy it

LO will sell more consoles, so does ES

do u know hy ME wont sell? not cause they dont like those types of games, but because developers dont bother translating those games to Japanese

GeoW sold good there, why? it was translated to Japanese. Honestly, why do they buy a game that the developers dont bother translating to their language. yes, some do cause they know english will. others dont

no one dares to release a game (RPG) the same time FF does (DQ maybe)

the Europe launch might actually save the ps3

when Sony sees that it sucked there as will, they'll know that they have to reduce the price (hey, loosing more money better than consoles not sold to stores) or crank up games faster rather than delays after delays (getting some exclusives wont hurt as will)

-First off it will show ms and sony that people aren't going to be spending 300$ for a game console. Keep gaming affordable, don't turn consoles into downsizes mini pc's

-It will show ms and sony that people are tired of the same games over and over again. Sequal after sequal of the same games with better graphics won't cut it anymore. People want something new and fresh, sa concept foreign to a ms and sony.

-People don't care about super graphics. Its all about the games. The game market will shift its focus to making revolutionary games instead of bumping of the graphics on x sequal.

What do you think? will nintendo winning this generation finnaly take the game market and give it some fresh air?

- the 360 price is pretty good,, but i hope sony does relize their bad and fix it fast, or for god sakes have more games

- lol,, just lol... dude, Nintendo is the master of rehash...

- this might be the biggest lost to the market. new games will appeal to the casuals with bad gfx, and all the multi million great games wont come out (Gears, MGS, Halo). we'll loose all those games to the watered down kiddy games

I really hope to god Nintendo does not win the war, unliss (and this is what i think) that the Wii is a short term console that is a bridge to the Wii2

this is actually a good thing, imo

now those sony execs need to pull their head out of their @sses and stop saying that we are doing well... they need to start picking things up or they are doomed

the bad news is, the europ launch is coming,,, if that fails as will, then we'll see drastic change, like a price cut (yeah, sony are loosing a lot on ps3s, but loosing more is better than retailors not buying them anymore)   :D

there is a DMC4 demo (that was in TGS) but it's not in PSN.

now on to why they are not releasing anything, beats me too. but i guess they are allocating all their resources for the europ release now (but i dont think thats true, sony is way big of a company and they should be able to handle this)

but lets hope they are indeed waiting for after the Euro launch
