funny you should say that, because everyone'heard' it werent a good game, but didnt actually play it. Back in the day ppl played K1 and socom1 online all the time, just switching from both. It had some killer weapons i just hope they bring back...i think the whole flamethrower thing isnt killzones style. Lugers SMG must return aswell as that infamous helghast sniper with the orange sights.
i had a dream the other night that i was playing the 'beach head' map from the the original K1 game, that had to be the best by far!! i just hope they slot that in there, why wouldnt they? i mean everynoe used to play that map! Also i think they need to put that big 40mm cannon gun in the game aswell, possibly the most devatating/realistic cannon ever seen in an FPS! c'mon Guerilla bring back the glory that was in K1....i beg you!
also i hope that Gran Turismo dont put crash damage into the game, and i want ppl to shut up about in game music. Developers dont pay millions for orchetral scores for nothing. just buy a CD player you dumb falice
i wanna see the getaway get back into development, with lots of ps3 users getting tired of the same of stuff that gta can offer theres plenty of room in the market for the game. I got bored of GTA as soon as i realised i would have to trowl around an enviorment that i didnt care for, bland dull and mediocre american architecture and cars. Not even gunna start with the poor missions.
i wanna see SCEA pump money into FRD so we can see the 2 greatest developers under SONY's blizzarrd proof roof. (guerilla games and free radical)
SCEA and SCEE should work independantly on HOME. As HSBC back say 'local knowledge goes far'. The EU server should accomodate for what EU ppl want. The TV screens should feature sports news from skysports. Maybe a couple of dart boards and most definatley english pool tables!!! scaletric anyone?
no matter how much i will play SOCOM, i will always play warhawk aswell. It is that good, theres nothing else like it in the market, the fluidity of the combat beats everything hands down!
plus real cars and very nice HDR lighting which was non-existent in GTA.
I really am gutted, theres still a massive market in the EU for that game, don't understand it, all the effort team soho went to and all the data they acquired in London was a joke.
I found out that soho studios cancelled the production of the new getaway game. Now i can only assume that they saw GTA as too much as a threat and they wouldn't get the market?
Seriously though, after i completed GTA i sold the game were i would usually keep it and play its endlessly. Personally i would of gave the game 7.5/10, dissaponted with the endless 'drive miles' missions and poor 360 biased game engine. I was so hyped when i saw the getaway tech demo of London, and i just know i would of played that alot more.
Any reasons why they pulled it? (aswell as eight days)
