I suggest you try UFO Alien Invasion. It's an open source X-Com clone build on top of the Quake2 engine. It's pretty incredible. If you REALLY want to try the original X-Com, OpenXCom (which is also open source) is a replacement engine that works with the original game's data. It's just like X-Com but with all the amenities of a new game.

@SoulScribe @abarto Sounds interesting and I wouldn't mind helping out. Funny thing the LoL community. I have is that quite a few friends of mine which are normally really nice people, behave like sociopaths when playing LoL :)

Right on the money Danny. I used to be a prick when I was young(er). I doubt there's anything you can do to change the way adolescents and immature jackasses behave, but at least we should try to pitch in to make the site a nice place to visit. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

Gamespot doesn't need much to get a lot of traffic. Get Caro to mention gender inequality in a review, or Tom to give a game an 8.0 :)

The sensible software EFMS was pure gold. I'd like to see more coverage of old developers and publishers.
