WTF?!?!?! was that footage from UFO:AI?!?!? UFO:Alien Invasion is a free (open-source) remake of the original XCOM using a modified Quake engine. It's one of the best open-source games available, and it is FAR better than most of the sequels/clones available. Do yourselves a favor and give it a try. http://ufoai.org
Interesting coincidence that you mentioned Bulletstorm's low sales. That game is unavailable in my region through Steam (and so are other really good games like Arkham City). You know what boost sales? How about letting us buy it?. I'm a PC and PS3 gamer and one of the best things of my console is that I can play games from other regions without problems.
A lot of people speaks negatively about drugs, but that doesn't stop addicts from buying. Blizzard is frighteningly similar to a drug dealer. All companies eventually grow big enough to start screwing with their clients/consumers. There are exceptions (Bethesda / Id? Rockstar? Valve?), but they can easily burn their cred in a second with bullshit like 0-day DLC and always-on DRM.
This was the most interesting Gameplay so far. The reviewer/designer interaction was brilliant. I hope you can have another designer (or developer) in a future episode. Perhaps it could be fun if you can get a developer from an open source game (which is neither indie, nor owned by a big company) on board.
Once GTA V is released, they're going to start printing money again. Sad to hear that Spec Ops: The Line and Max Payne 3 sold less than expected as they're both great games.
