@Mr_Mark_Legion Battlefield shouldn't have SP in the first place. Leave that to other games...in fact the SP of BF3 brought the critics' scores of the game down dramatically.
@chitownjedi @adamska156 @valdarez That's definitely a fair argument but you've got to admit you would be considered an "outlier" statistically. Most people aren't doing anything even remotely close to that.
@J_Snake Try GreenManGaming. They always have a minimum of 20% off everything. Brand new games for 40 dollars or less. Couple that with Steam which has amazing sales on games typically within a few months of release for more like 40% off and the savings add up quickly.
@joshctnl @adamska156 I'm anything but an "xtreme pc nerd". I don't overclock and I use the free version of AVG antivirus. I don't upgrade every year or even every 4 years (more like 5). In my experience I am pretty close to the average pc gamer. My issue with this statement is that it's being compared to the average computer and not the average gaming computer. There is a massive difference because the average person just buys a computer for basic programs and to browse the internet. They buy whatever is advertised (getting ripped off) and they have no knowledge of computer specifications in general. The advertising "lingo" draws them into thinking they are getting a great deal when just the opposite is true. This marketing rhetoric is also targeted at those exact same people and it just plain isn't true. I'm a little confused as to how much you actually payed and what you actually received because your english is a little spotty but have you considered that maybe you just got ripped off on your computer too?
@dr_jashugan Or just don't be ignorant in general. If you honestly thought this game would be good, then you don't know how to listen to your intuition.
@experience_fade Exactly...and all they end up doing is wasting time and resources on DRM that, more often than not is cracked before the game is even released.
