This confirmes my opinion of Molyneux being an idiot. That and the insane hyping of Fable 1 (which dissapointed) and Fable 2 (which will dissapoint)

wackys

I don't know how much you know about Molyneux but he is really closer to a genius than an idiot. He is responsible for the evolving ai in black and white and also came up with The Movies which was one of the most original ideas ever.

His problem is not that he is an idiot but that he does not understand the market very well. He hasn't ever had too much commercial success and while he may blame it on the market it is more likely due to the fact he doesn't really understand the market in the first place.

Having said that, he is a true inovator and deserves a little more respect than being called an idiot.

yes it is standalone and you will not have any problem running it. Its not too intensive to run partly because its turn based anyway so framerate isn't an issue and you have decent specs.

Fable is not quite like zelda in that there is much more emphasis on combat but thats probably true of all rpg's nowadays. I can tell you it is a very good game and it sounds like it might be perfect for you since you can play it in short segments pretty easily.

Neverwinter nights never got my attention personally. It is a good game but it will take a lot more commitment than fable. On the other hand you are comparing 15 hours of gameplay in fable to 80 with neverwinter nights so value might play a role too.

One thing that I would point out though is that frequently these m class chips are not supported by the software developers. That means that it works sometimes, it doesn't others, or thirdly you might have to wait for a patch. My experience with a laptop w/ an integrated m class chipset was similar except that I found a year or two out there were severe compatibility issues that didn't let me play certain games at all. There is no work-around for many off these problems so I would caution on that.

I haven't played in a while but if you want a game like COH then the DC Universe Online and Champions Online will be coming out soon. You might be better off waiting and getting a more up to date game. I do know that they have enough of a community that they are still putting out their comic and doing regular updates but long term people are going to migrate to Champions Online.

So let me get this straight..... you admit you are stealing a game and then worried it won't work perfectly? I hope you get a virus.

I don't think many companies post phone numbers anymore. If I were you I would try emailing customer support.

Most people are advocating ATI's top card these days. Its 3/4ths the performance for almost half as much. If you have an intel or amd motherboard pairing two of these together might make more sense. Having said that, if money is no object, the 280 gtx is a monster card.

I went on a Forum for SWG and I couldn't post messages, so I came here to ask a few questions about these two games..

SWG:

1 - Can you start as a Jedi.. if so, that sucks a tad

2 - How exspensive is the average ship (For starting up some sort of company)

2.5 - Is it possible to start a compnay

3 - Do people regularly join groups

4 - How many people (on average) are on your server

5 - Private server??

Matrix Online:

1 - Is it any good

2 - How many people on average are on your server

3 - Private server??

Thanks, please get back with some answers..

MickaelJulliard

Matrix online is not even worth thinking about playing. As far as SWG you can start as a jedi and it is an alright mmo although pretty old. I don't know how many people play it anymore but 2 years ago it was pretty dead so I am guessing its gotten worse.

For an older MMO many people seem to like EVE. I have never played it but you can buy sips in it. It has a healthy community too.
