Pirates of the Burning Sea is the one I can't wait for that hasn't gotten a lot of attention.

Mafia 2 is too new a project to have anyone care about it yet but if it can live up to the first one it won't fly under the radar for long.

I am building my first computer and I tried to read up on everything and do it all by the book but I can't get it to power up. When I turn on my PSU I get a blue light in the upper right hand corner of my motherboard (evga nforce 680i sli). Then when I hit the power button on my chasis I get a yellow/orange light that turns on and stays on a little to the left of the blue light. My fans never come on though and nothing seems to be working. No bios pops up or anything. I read through the motherboard manual and I can't find what these lights mean.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I have always read that building a pc is cheaper but when I acctually priced out what I wanted it wasn't turning out that way. Is there something I am doing wrong? I tried searching on the internet for good prices but its still not much of a savings.

My Pc:

case: thermaltake VA9000BWS $250

cpu: intel BX80562QX6700 $970

gpu: pny VCG88GTSXPB $356

m. board: EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 $200

memory: kingston hyperX KHX8500D2K2/2G $210

psu: antec TP3-650 $125

OS: Vista Premium oem $110

hd: Samsung HD501LJ $110

monitor: samsung 226BW $320

dvd burner+ 2nd dvd drive: $75

sound card: Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer $95

total: ~$2800

comparable cyber power pc: $ 2591

comparable aeoncraft: $2832 w/ qx6600 instead of qx6700

alienware $3173

What I am seeing is that you don't save much of any money building this type of setup. Is there something I am doing wrong?

thanks for any advise.

ps. Please don't respond with things like "you know you can get vista for free." Or "why are you using vista instead of xp/linux/whatever"

not what i was saying. On some motherboards you can run both 2 video cards and a physics card. All three :)

well actually I haven't bought it yet. My friend had a problem with his liquid cooling and his computer will be down until he gets parts. He was already running a quad core proc and 8800gtx's in sli so there wasn't a lot more for him to add. I am building a quad core 6700 with one 8800gts. My mother board has 3 16 pcie slots (one x8 electrical) so I was just thinking about it for the future. I'll probably buy another 8800 first but I was just curious about what the physics card could do.

Also I know that not a lot of games are supported yet which is why I was asking about the demonstration game. However the unreal engine supports physics cards so I think we will se more games using it in the future.

A while back there was a game released designed to demonstrate the new physics card. Does anyone remember what this game was? I am sure lots of you downloaded it since it was a free game and I wanted to test out my new card on something that actually uses it.
