well deserved. It's excellent and clearly assembled with a lot of love and lessons learned from the SF4 launch.
TBH, they should have gifed the game to every SF4 launch buyer out of respect for what they were asked to endure. But I digress.
Destiny 2 - 8/10: Continued evolution with new subclasses and weapon ideas show there are lots of good ideas and risks they're willing to take. Some of the repetitious experience continues to not feel good, but they continue to show they can do just about anything with Tiger engine, including deep sea diving seasons.
Diablo 4 - 10/10: Exactly what it needed to be. Somewhere between the complexity of Diablo 2/PoE and the ease of Diablo 3. D3 lasted 26 seasons and counting, D4 launched with minimal stability issues and a whooole lot of gamers who currently need showers.
Street Fighter 6 - 10/10: Exactly what SF6 needed to be. Exceptional netcode, lots of features, best-in-genre animations (as always), the classic feel people expect, and a clear runway for expanding the roster for years to come.
Between this and Diablo 4, I just casually spent like $160.
...and it will have been worth every penny!
Very nice pickup for those of us who didn't bother getting around to the PS5 release. Nothing like ultrawide at 120+ fps with good settings and the ability to use any input device you see fit.
Will pick up in the fall when its price is inevitably 50% off.
