I just finished this game, again, last week. Half Life 2 is truly a Master Piece. Playing through Half Life 1 this week.

I have played them both, enjoyed both, but I have to disagree. Personally, the game of this generation is RDR.

That's a great question! Very few if any AAA game offers us any innovation these days. There is too much money on the line for them to try something completely new. To make matters worse, they keep puking these games year after year none stop. People keep buying them, tho'. So maybe they are just right not to innovate, maybe people don't want innovation.

Has DOOM ever had "passion and soul"? Personally, I'm a huge fan because it gets rid of passion and soul and goes straight to the core of gameplay. Run around, find the key kill everything that moves. the end. There is no time for passion and soul, just kill'em all.
