Personally, I can't be bothered with Mass Effect 3 right now. I'm going to wait till the price drops then buy it and the rest of the DLC. At the end, i'm probably going to end up paying just as much as those who bought it on release day. I have had it with DLC, have you seen the amount of DLC for vita already? They are selling games by the pieces now, after almost 30 years of gaming I think I'm finally reaching the end of my love for video games. You are right about COD and WoW, those games require little to no brain power to play, WoW used to be fun when it was challenging, I spent hours playing it till they nerfed it for the 8 year old crowd. When my friend's 55 year old mother started to play it I knew it was over. :) There I go discriminating the elderly, my bad.
The whole sexuality/homosexuality in games makes me laugh. At the end, it's nothing but a marketing ploy that adds nothing to the game. Then again, it's a free country, so whatever floats your boat.
Which is why I only bought 2 new games on release day last year. You gotta be a sucker to fall for the publishers gimmicks. As of now, I'm waiting for Mortal Kombat Komplete edition, Dirt 3 and a few others that came out last year, but being released again at a lower price with more stuff soon.
I gotta handed to Vita supporters, they really don't want to see the ugly truth. I for one, am going to wait till christmas to buy me one, at a really low, low price. Uncharted in a tiny screen? cool! does the battery really only lasts 3 hours? strike three! As for R*, how the heck are they going to top Red Dead? that game is almost perfect.
I don't think it's doomed, if done right. Too bad the Vita has it wrong, for now. I can use my iPhone to make calls, take pictures, video, play my music, run apps and play games. I have my wallet in one pocket and my iPhone in the other, I don't need a Vita. At home, do I want a play uncharted on a tinny screen or on my huge screen tv? I'll probably end up buying a vita, if Sony releases enough RPGs and lowers the price.
