@cainetao11: actually they can't... investors these days think they can, but they actually can't. The only thing a publically traded company is obligated to do is tell the truth about their books. Outside of that it's corrupt boards of companies that tie CEO compensation to stock performance to achieve this, and that never works out in the long run.
I've only played Black Flag, it reminded me of old games like Pirates! so I got into it. But playing it I realized if this was any other setting I wouldn't care for the game at all. It's just too repetitive....
@bickle2: they are not synonyms you putz. RTM which is exclusively used by Microsoft refers to release version used for OEMs building new Windows 10 machines. That's been the definition for ever. Going gold, final release are generic term that everyone else uses. Nobody RTMs shit, there hasn't been a single article in gamespot history where a game developer has announced we've RTM'd. Only in your fantasy world would you not understand the GOLD is referring to the actual CD-R they burnt before the glass masters are made. But you spew this superfluous nonsense about manufacturing because you weren't around when the term was coined, and probably never even seen a GOLD CD-R.
@Saidrex: Don't forget some retail copies these days are also just steam codes in a box. See that logo on the Fallout 4 box that says "PC GAME" where it's suppose to say "PC DVD"
@bickle2: wow you couldn't be so wrong. Gone gold just means it's ready to be duplicated. And only Windows RTMs. Which means the OS version that is being shipped to OEM computer manufactureres to build machines with.
Yeah well when the 360 is outselling your current console, of course you'd go with the Xbox Live numbers. haha losers, both MS and the people who bought that 720p box!
@skipper847: You just said they were made on PC's now you are saying they don't care about PC and they make more money on console. If it was made on a PC then shouldn't it work on PC, that's what you originally said. Now you seem to be disagreeing with yourself and admitting they are ports? Ok you were wrong, I'll take it :)
