[QUOTE="rasengan2552"] No, the bible definitely expresses that God does not like homosexuality. Something about a gay couple not being able to naturally accept God's greatest gift ( a child).NaveedLife
I'm sorry to get into this, but Jesus NEVER mentioned homosexuality, nor did any of the prophets. And yeah, there are some verses in the Old Testament condemning homosexuality, but there are also verses saying if a bride was not a virgin she should be stoned to death, if someone commits adultery both people must be stoned to death, divorce is forbidden, no sex during a woman's period under pain of death, etc. Why do we latch onto mentions of homosexuality, while ignoring all of the other sexual activities forbidden by the Bible that are now commonplace?
Honestly I do not know how much of what you said is true, but I agree if it is. That's what I mean. To me, just use common sense. I think sex is meant for people who are in love. I don't think that means marriage, just don't go around whoring yourself :P. But this is just my opinion. I swear. I don't see that as a sin if not used for bad or anything. It is this sort of thing that I use my own common sense with.
What he's said is absolutely true, the part about the woman being stoned to death is part of the Deuteronomic Code. The same book says that a woman who wears a man's clothing is an abomination, and that both the rapist and the victim should be stoned to death, because the victim of the rape didn't stop it from happening.
